Moemon Emerald

I have played some interesting Pokemon hacks, but Moemon Emerald is taking it to a whole new level. I am sure that you are thinking this right here could be a simple hack of Pokemon Emerald, but that is not actually the case… ok so it is a hack of Pokemon Emerald, but it is not what you are probably thinking of.

Pokemon Are Hot!!!

Have you ever been playing Pokemon and asked yourself, what if these Pokemon I am trying to capture were not “animals” but they were cute anime-style girls? Well, I am not sure many of us had, but that is basically the premise of Moemon Emerald and it is one that I do feel has a lot of charm to it and as a result, I found myself spending way more time with this than I thought I would.

The sprite work here is great. I like how cute they have made the Pokemon look and not went for an oversexualized design like I am sure many people may have thought they would. This is a very charming kind of game and the way that they have managed to have Moemon from multiple regions is something that I think is very cool.

Classic Pokemon

While the sprites have been changed at its heart, I would say that Moemon Emerald is the same Pokemon game you know and love. I actually always enjoyed Pokemon Emerald and in all honesty as far as the story and the main gameplay goes, not much has really changed here if I am being honest. That is not a bad thing and the change in the overall setting does make it feel different, but do not go into this expecting it to be a massively different kind of game. This is a hack that is 100 percent all about the visuals being changed and not much else.

I would wager that most people who have played a Pokemon game before will be able to blow through this one quite quickly. One thing I do feel I have to mention is that in order to play this hack, you do need to have RPG Maker XP RTP in order to get this to run. That may be a sticking point for some people, but it did not bother me.

I really did think that Moemon Emerald was an interesting hack. The idea of taking Pokemon and making them cute anime style girls is interesting, fun and it actually works quite well. Of course, if you love Pokemon the way that they are then this might not be for you. I do in a way actually like the way the hack keeps the core gameplay the same as it does not cause any technical problems as you play. In all, if you want a kind of “different” but at the same time “familiar” Pokemon experience, check this one out.

Pros:

• The Moemon are a fun take on Pokemon
• The sprite work here is well done
• At its heart, it is still Pokemon Emerald
• The game is easy to get into
• It is rather unusual, but I like that

Cons:

• If you like the way Pokemon look, you might not be into these designs
• Not much else has been changed

Everyone is familiar with pocket monsters, but in the form of girls will present you a mod for the game about Pokémon - Moemon Emerald. Go through the plot of the original, but enjoy the battles not a variety of monsters, and beautiful ladies.

Fighting in public

Earth and water, the two components of our world collide in a battle. How can ordinary people not get hurt in the process? The legendary Pokémon Kyogre and Groudon are engaged in a fierce battle right above the Hoenn region. Even novice Pokémon trainers must engage in a fierce battle and tame the raging elements.

Pokémon for a favor

The main character is a newcomer to Littleroot Town. After moving to a new town with his family, he rushes to meet Pokémon Professor Mr. Birch. In his first moments, however, he meets the professor's child, who will become the hero's main rival in the future. Mr. Burch has strayed too far from home and is attacked by a wild Zigzown. In an attempt to fend off the enemy's attack, the protagonist uses the professor's Pokeball. For his rescue, the professor gives one of three starting Pokémon: Treecko, Mudkip, and Torchic.

Hysteria of the Ancients

The world where the hero lives and the Hoenn region itself is a peaceful place, except that the suddenly awakened legendary pokémon decided to prevent the protagonist from realizing his dream. Instead of training hard and becoming the region's champion, the hero is forced to deal with two psychotic giant pokémon. The only thing that makes this situation more ironic is the fact that both Pokémon will be in the form of girls. Legendary Pokémon after the story you can try to catch, there are only two in this version of the game:

• Groudon - commands the tectonic plates
