Pokemon X

In Pokémon X, players explore the French-inspired region of Kalos. There, Pokémon trainers begin their adventure by capturing, training and battling Pokémon to complete the Kalos Pokédex. The main goal is to beat the eight Pokémon Leagues in the region.

About the game

The story of Pokemon X focuses on the player's journey to become the best Pokemon trainer in the Kalos region. The player must earn the region's eight gym medals and challenge the Pokemon League. Along the way, the player will face an evil organization known as Team Flare, which aims to use Pokemon for its own selfish purposes.

The graphics in Pokemon X are stunning and full of detail. The Pokemon and stages are well designed and animated, and the Kalos region has a sense of depth and variety. The visual effects are impressive, especially during Mega Evolution battles.

The gameplay of Pokemon X is typical of games in the franchise. The player assumes the role of a Pokemon trainer and embarks on an adventure to capture, train and battle wild Pokemon and rival trainers.

One of the main features of Pokemon X is the introduction of Mega Evolutions. With this mechanic, certain Pokemon can temporarily transform into more powerful forms during battle. This adds a new layer of strategy to battles and brings diversity when choosing teams.

Another new feature is the "Super Training" mini-game, which allows players to train their Pokemon faster and more effectively than traditionally. Customization has also been included in this game, allowing players to customize their avatar and equipment.

Pokémon X and Y are the first Pokémon main series games to be developed in 3D, offering a larger and more immersive game world. The 3D version also facilitates more exciting animated battles.

Compared to other games in the Pokemon franchise, such as Pokemon Black and White, Pokemon X has similar but improved gameplay. The introduction of the Mega Evolution mechanic adds a new layer of strategy to battles and improves team customization. Also, the graphics are impressive and there are a lot of new Pokemon to capture and train. But when compared to Pokemon Sun And Moon in terms of difficulty, Sun and Moon was considered slightly more difficult, with stronger battles and team leaders, tougher bosses and more challenges. However, the difficulty level remained fairly balanced for players of all levels.

Review: 9/10

Overall, Pokemon X is a solid game that will appeal to fans of the Pokemon franchise. The gameplay is classic but enhanced with the introduction of the Mega Evolution mechanic, and the graphics are impressive.
