Capcom developed "MotoGP 09/10," which was released on 23 March 2010. The game was released for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The MotoGP series is revolved around a motorcycle racing circuit along with custom game modes. "MotoGP 09/10" includes four separate modes, which I'll explain in the next paragraph. The player has to do more than just navigate their bike in the races. The player has to do things such as hire staff members, for example, engineers, team managers, and press officers, to help them progress through the game. The goal of the game is to build a reputation for your rider throughout their career.
Gameplay Modes
"MotoGP 09/10" includes four different game modes; career, championship, arcade, and online. Career mode consists of taking control of one rider and managing their career on and off the race track. The player's most important responsibility is winning their races. However, in career mode, you have to focus on several other aspects of your racers career. The player must hire his staff consisting of managers, engineers, and press officers. Choosing the correct staff members will help raise your reputation to get you to the next stage in your career faster, with the ultimate end goal of winning the MotoGP World Championship.
Championship mode will let you try three different race types, including MotoGP championships. This is a single-player mode where the AI chooses from several different styles to keep it challenging. Arcade mode allows the rider to show their skill as they complete a whole season while racing against the clock. Players will earn rewards based on several things, such as top speed and not crashing. Online mode is just how it seems. You are one biker in a race of up to 20 players. This mode is for playing against other people without AI racers added in.
Improvements
Capcom released a new MotoGP game every year for some time. For this game, they took an extra year off for development to improve on some much-needed features from MotoGP '08. Capcom made the bikes feel more sturdy and more straightforward to have control of. Especially the top-level bikes of the 800cc models. Capcom also did a great job improving the AI from the previous game in the franchise. The AI in "MotoGP 09/10" is much more complex as they adapt and have several riding styles and several paces the AI will race on.
"MotoGP 09/10" is an entertaining arcade racing game. It allows you a great selection of different bikes and modes and adds an online mode to play against other real players for when the AI gets too easy to beat. However, "MotoGP 09/10" was filled with bugs and various other issues, which took away from the game's overall experience. If you are looking for an arcade-style motorcycle racing game, I'd recommend it. However, if you want a more serious racing game, I would not suggest "MotoGP 09/10".
