Nude Byte

Nude Byte is a really impressive 3rd person shooter with a real lewd style to it that makes it extra awesome. It is the kind of game that has way more depth than you would think and I found myself really loving this thing! One of the craziest things about this game is that this was made by just one dude! It blows my mind how someone can be this creative and talented! I have spent quite a bit of time with the game and wanted to share my thoughts on why it is so much fun. There is a “free” version of the game that works as kind of a demo so be sure to try that out if you are on the fence.

A Real Splat Fest

In case you have not figured it out, Nude Byte is inspired by the Splatoon series and that is awesome! I am kind of surprised that more games have not looked to Splatoon for inspiration to be honest with you. There is not a huge amount of story here, but having this cute chick talking to us and explaining how “lucky” we are as we go through this tube into the computer world is pretty cool and at least gives you the basics of a story.

The Fab Four!

Nude Byte has us in charge of four hot big boobed girls! Kitty, bunny, puppy, and mouse are the girl types and each one has a different thing about them. Think of it like a tank, an all-rounder, and so on and you will have the right idea. You can unlock new stuff for the ladies as you progress so you have to always decide if you want to save up or use your coins as soon as you get them. If you have played Splatoon before, you will be shocked at how similar this all feels. I did find that the difficulty did ramp up fairly quickly, but that just forced me to keep on playing and get better at the game.

The Byte Ball Bites Back!

The premise of a match in Nude Byte is quite simple. Instead of shooting paint like we do in Splatoon, we shoot bits and we need to be standing on the right bit of floor to get bits for our weapons. This is fun, just like it is in Splatoon, but I feel like it is a bit more generous than Splatoon is with the amount of bits that it has for you to get. There are a few different varieties of enemies that you have to shoot, but the real goal of a match is to grab the byte ball and get it back to your area. It sounds so simple, but it can be such a fun challenge that keeps you coming back for more.

My Eyes!

The ladies in Nude Byte are awesome, even if you do not pay for the nudity, they have big boobs and are very easy on the eyes. The game has a very unique style that at first I will admit, I found a bit on the overwhelming side! The bright, “computer” style of the whole game is a real blast for your optics and it may take you a while to figure out what everything is. However, those bright colors and all the stuff breaking into pixels around you give the game a ton of personality and ultimately add to its charm.

Pros:

• I liked how it was based off Splatoon
• It has fast and frantic action
• I like the whole “bits and bytes” style of the game
• It can be a very addictive game

Cons:

• It may take a while for your eyes to adjust to the visual style
• If Splatoon did not click with you, chances are this is not the game for you
