I was kind of surprised to see that Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings had such a mixed reception online! I played this earlier in 2023 and thought that it was a fun and charming all be it rather short lewd RPG. I know that it is not doing anything that is ground breaking and I guess I can see why some might say it is a bit on the average side. However, I had a lot of fun with this and think that it is well worth playing if you are looking for a lewd RPG that is not going to take you a whole heap of time to get through.

Little Adventurer Girl Living In The City

The story of Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings is a fantasy kind of story and our main character is a young and cute adventurer called Lietta. Lietta lives in the Giselian Empire and she gets by due to her work as an adventurer where she takes on various jobs that see her heading out on all kinds of quests. While she is good at what she does, Lietta is not just an adventurer for the sake of doing so, the thrills or even the loot! She has a much more personal reason for doing what she does.

Honoring My Master

You see Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings is really a revenge kind of story, Lietta was raised and trained by sword master Nigel as she never knew her parents. Nigel was murdered and since then Lietta has been on a quest for vengeance and justice! I thought that the way her personal revenge story mixed with the story of the Giselian Empire being ruled by a vicious leader was really cool. The story is not too long winded either, just giving you enough to keep you going which I am sure some people will like. I enjoyed the story, but I would not have been upset if they went into more detail about some things.

Quite The Pair You Have There!

I was very, very impressed by the visuals of Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings. The lewd art in this game is just incredible and it also has some very graphic descriptions which just makes it even hotter. While Lietta is very hot, the character that got my motor running best was the awesome purple haired Grimoire and her giant boobs! I will say that there is some hentai porn here with the chicks getting banged and molested by monsters that I personally am not a fan of, but that was not in here as much as the “regular” XXX stuff. Even the actual game looks great, it has a fun pixel art style to it and it is all done very well.

Running Around In Circles

When it comes to the gameplay of Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings, I can see why this is where some people may not be as won over as I was. This is a very basic lewd RPG where you take on quests, fetch items, fight enemies, and so on. The problem is that the game has different paths. For example, the revenge path where you are looking for answers about your master’s death is great and feels very straightforward. However, there is also a corruption, prostitution style path that feels like it is from a completely different game!

If you are someone who enjoys lewd RPGs, Obscurite Magie: The Blood of Kings is well worth your time. I was impressed with what I played and to be honest I think that many of the negative reviews I have read about it seem a bit on the harsh side if I am being honest. I will say that it is not a perfect lewd RPG, but it has a decent story, interesting characters, and some epic art. Plus, you are only looking at a commitment of a few hours if you want to see it all the way through.
