Everything from the piece of brush you walk by all the way to the dragons flying through the air and the bosses you have to defeat are breathtakingly sharp and detailed.

The entire game is a moving work of art, and worth playing just to admire the scenery. The sound in the game is, if possible, even better than the graphics. The music is just as sweeping and inspiring as the graphics themselves. Together, it is as much an experience as it is a game. Black Myth: Wukong makes games like Skyrim look faded and old compared to the raw beauty and detail offered here.

Based on a Real Book

This game is based on a real book, the same one that inspired the Dragon Ball series. Those who have read Journey to the West. Journey to the West is considered one of China’s four great literary classics. It’s also one of the most popular books of all time in East Asia, despite being written in the 16th century.

Combat

The game features jaw dropping bosses, incredible weaponry, and smooth movement. A minor flaw in the game is that there’s sometimes a lag between healing your character, and the heal going through.

This can be frustrating in the fast-paced combat available, but it’s a relatively small thing compared to the thrill and excitement of the game itself. This game also requires a lot of processing power from your computer to be able to keep up with the graphics, the sound, and the combat. If your computer isn’t powerful enough, you may deal with some lagging issues.
