Braveheart Academy

I will admit that I came into Braveheart Academy with the hope that it had something to do with the movie! Instead, what we have here is a fun dating sim with visual novel elements that I ended up really enjoying. It is one of the better games of this style and while as you would expect there is a fair bit of grinding in the game. I never once felt that it got in the way of my enjoyment. Keep on reading to see why this is a game that kept me hooked!

Welcome To The Academy

No points for figuring out that Braveheart Academy is based in a school! The story of the game is that we play as a loveable guy that is just looking for love and to have some fun. What I like about the stories that are in this game is that they are all quite lighthearted. I also thought it was neat how the girls in your main classes will be different depending on what you select at the start of the game. It made me want to jump back in and play through it again as soon as I was done.

Look At More Than Just Her Boobs!

One of the aspects of the game that I really enjoyed was actually getting to know the ladies. There is a good selection of girls in Braveheart Academy and each one feels unique. You will be chatting with each one and you have to pay attention so that you can know things about her as you will need to pick the right options when you speak to her and if you have not been paying attention, she will not want to be with you. The girls do have bios that get filled out as you play, but having to pay attention to them and getting to know them as a person more than just T&A was something I enjoyed.

Student Life

While I would say that Braveheart Academy is best described as a dating sim. There is far more to the gameplay than you would think. You have this fun dating app you can play around with, there is a little mini-game (where most of the grinding comes from) and there are even elements of sandbox style games as you have to click around the map, follow the calendar, and so on to make sure you are ready for when a specific event is going down. While there is a bit of grinding, it never bothered me and I always felt like the game was moving forward.

Selecting The Honey’s!

One of the things I do have to say about the game is that the character models are clearly from Honey Select. There are more than enough tweaks to make them unique, but if you have played Honey Select, you may get a sense of Deja Vue when you see the character renders in Braveheart Academy. The game has a nice look to it overall and the sexual content here is great. I think that as you get to know the characters better, you tend to appreciate them, even more, when you do get to see them in action!

Pros:

• I liked the majority of the girls in this game
• The whole game was just a lot of fun to play
• It has some great looking ladies
• Even the MC that we play as is fun and likable

Cons:

• The Honey Select thing is kind of noticeable right from the start
• I have heard some people say they did not like the mini-game
