Exchange Student

After spending a few hours playing Exchange Student I finally feel like I am ready to get my thoughts down on paper…. Well digital paper, but you know what I mean! Anyway, this is a lewd game that is mainly a visual novel style of game, but it does have a bit of sandbox style exploration about it as well, but it is not leaning too much into this. It actually has a really fun premise that I thought was quite clever too. This is a decent lewd game and one that is well worth spending a few hours with to see if you like it.

A Case Of Mistaken Identity

I am sure we have all played a couple of lewd games that have a premise similar to what Exchange Student is offering. The idea is that the main character is heading to a new country to be part of the student exchange program. Now before you say that this is about as cliché as you can get in a lewd game. I will tell you that the twist here is that his name in this new country is one that is usually used for girls so his host family was expecting a girl…. Not this cool stud that is going to be trying to bang them all.

Lots Of Exotic Chicks To Have Fun With

One of the areas where I think Exchange Student succeeds is with its characters. There is a nice selection of ladies in this game for you to try and hook up with. While they do have a clear attraction to the main character, they are not all desperate to jump his bones and become his willing sex slave. There is a bit of a slow burn with some of the characters as you try to get to know them better and that was something I thought was done pretty well.

Reading The Room

I have read that some people feel that the game is a bit too grindy, but I am not sure I would agree with that. For the most part, Exchange Student is more of a lewd visual novel style of game where you read the text and then try to figure out what the right thing to say or do is. I do feel that when the sandbox elements are added in, it does make the game a tad less fun to play, but it is not horrible or too much of a chore. However, I will admit that I would have probably had more fun if it just stuck to being a visual novel.

My Kind Of Hosts!

Exchange Student is a very nice-looking game. They have gone for a realistic look to all of the characters and there are some real lookers here, especially the host mom. One thing I will say is that while the game is very easy on the eyes, there is not a ton of lewd content in the game. The stuff I did manage to come across was very well done (even if it was lacking animation) and pretty damn hot, but I do wish there was more of it. Or, I guess you could say it does make you appreciate it, even more, when you do see it!

Pros:

• I thought the idea of the story was good
• There are some interesting and realistic feeling characters
• I liked the character renders
• It is a very easy game and story to get into

Cons:

• I do think it would have been better without the sandbox elements
• Some of the English in the game is a tad off
