Legend of Krystal: Rebirth

Legend of Krystal: Rebirth is one of those lewd games that got abandoned way too early. This had such a great premise and even recently when I went back and played the game for the first time in ages, I realized what a special lewd adventure game this could have ended up being. There is a decent amount of content here so you can play it and get a good idea of where the development was heading. It is a real shame they pulled the plug on this one when they did!

Dinosaur Planet

The whole “vibe” that I get when I played Legend of Krystal: Rebirth was that of the Nintendo GameCube game, Star Fox Adventures. The game has a very similar kind of thing going on. We have this very attractive fox looking lady called Krys and she is sent on a mission to track down a dangerous lust demon. Well, her ship crashes in this jungle looking area and she needs to get her bearings and find this lust demon before it is too late.

Guess What? It Was Too Late!

You see, this jungle is not empty. Legend of Krystal: Rebirth has such a fantastic setting and these dinosaur type creatures live here and they are not willing to let Krys leave and pursue the lust demon until that she has shown she is worthy to go to their special land. The story is basically her trying to prove her worth by doing stuff for these dinosaur creatures and by doing stuff I am pretty sure you know exactly what I am talking about!

An Adventure With So Much Promise

Legend of Krystal: Rebirth is a 2D adventure game and one that does not exactly have a ton of content. You basically walk from side to side, interacting with the different characters that you come across. The game is made longer by having to grind by doing the same things over and over again. It is not terrible and I have certainly played worse, but those who hate to grind for stuff like resources and stats may be a bit turned off here. The frustrating thing is that I can see the potential here. Having this a bit more fleshed out, perhaps with some exciting combat and more varied quests would have resulted in this being a very special kind of game.

Are They “Furries” Even When Reptiles?

If you are someone that gets a kick out of hot furry style characters, Legend of Krystal: Rebirth is going to really get your rocks off. The main character that we play as is a blue fox looking chick with a rocking body, she is pretty much the dream character for furries! The characters that will be banging her in the game are these reptile/dinosaur like creatures which makes me wonder, if it has scales is it in the same category as something like a fox? The lewd content is animated very well, but it is the overall look of this amazing sci-fi style world that I think steals the show as far as the presentation goes.

Pros:

• I really did like this world and lore that they created
• The main character is pretty cool
• The premise of the story was very interesting to me
• This game looks great, especially if you are into the whole furry thing

Cons:

• The game is abandoned and there is not a ton of content here
• It has a bit of grinding and the game can become rather repetitive

Legend of Krystal: Rebirth is a dialogue-oriented side-scroller about the adventures of the anthropomorphic she-wolf Krystal. Krystal's flight over the lands of the reptilian people ended in the destruction of her vehicle and the capture of Krystal herself. Now the she-wolf must somehow survive in a hostile wild tribe.

• Explore locations and look for ways to complete tribe members' quests
• You can play not only Crystal, but also Princess Peach or even Link
• All erotic scenes are animated
