Long Live the Princess

Long Live the Princess is a Ren’Py visual novel game with a bit of point and click style gameplay thrown in for good measure too. I was not sure what to expect with this game, but I was pretty shocked and it ended up being one of the most fun and exciting lewd stories I have played through in a while.

You Are The Truthslayer

This is a game that has a fantasy setting and a very good one I might add, The king of the land is dead and his daughter, Princess Selena is going to take the throne. Of course, Long Live the Princess is far more complex than that and there is a foul conspiracy at play to try and swing things in a certain direction. The story is very well told and there is a good mix of serious stuff and things that will make you laugh.

The character we play as is a Truthslayer and this means he has special abilities to get people to tell the truth! He needs to use his powers on Selena, but before that, he is going to bang as many chicks as he can to make sure his powers are up to scratch!

Sweet, Sweet Fantasy Baby

The presentation of Long Live the Princess is amazing, this is one of the best Ren’Py games I have played and the character designs are incredible. There is a great mix of girls here for you to try and have sex with. You have your blonde, dark-skinned, green-skinned, and even a little pixie that you can have your way with! I love the variety on offer here with the girls and the fantasy land that has been created is great too and helped me get more invested in what was happening.

The game could have used a tad more animation if I am being honest, but still, this is a game that I found to be very appealing as far as the visuals go. Some of the lewd scenes are great, ever wondered how a pixie could satisfy a regular-sized guy? Well, wonder no more as in this game you can find out how.

The Power Of Good

At its core, Long Live the Princess is a visual novel game. Most of what you will be doing is interacting with characters and trying to find stuff out about them so you can end up having sex with them. You get to pick where you go, what you do, say, and so on and the game throws a lot of stuff your way. It can be challenging to know what the right thing to say or do is so you may want to think about getting a guide.

As well as this, you also have some point and click style gameplay with a bit of RPG style grinding going on as well and this actually brings the game down for me. I think it would have been better had they just stuck to this being a full-on visual novel.

Pros:

• Playing as a Truthslayer is pretty cool
• I love the premise of the game
• I found the story to be the perfect blend of serious and fun
• Lots of hot girls for you to hook up with
• I cannot see you getting bored with this

Cons:

• There could have been a tad more animation
• Some of the “gameplay” decisions feel unnecessary
