Monster Charmer

If it all falls into place, Monster Charmer could be something epic. As of right now though, this is still in very early development and I mean early. There is not a ton of content here, but what is here has so much potential and I could easily see this being one of the premier lewd games if they are able to pull it all off. They are well and truly reaching for the stars with this one as they have some pretty intense ideas and this in many ways is like a AAA XXX game if you get what I am saying.

Monsters, Monsters Everywhere

Do not worry about the story that Monster Charmer is telling. The reason I say this is because in the version of the game I played there was no story at all! I am not even joking here, we play as a babe and we need to fight monsters that is all the story that you are getting here. I guess they may add some kind of narrative to it, but to be fair to the developer, that original Monster Hunter game did not have a big story, it was more about just fighting monsters and that is pretty much what we have here. You need to make up your own adventure in your own mind.

Let’s Go To The Beach

One of the weirder things about Monster Charmer is that there is another title Monster Hunter: Prologue that feels a bit more polished. It takes place on a beach rather than the dark and dreary setting that this version of the game we are talking about here. I also feel that it has a bit more as far as gameplay goes. The thing that I do not understand is why does that game exists. I mean, why not just keep on making that game, and build on it rather than make this one here? Or why make that one in the first place if this one here is what you intend the full experience to be? It just feels like an odd decision, but hey, it could be me just not getting it!

Playing Your Card Right

You can walk around the full 3D world in Monster Charmer and that alone makes this way more ambitious than many of the other lewd games that are out there. I feel like they have tried to make this as close to a “proper” game as possible. You can explore a little, but as far as the gameplay right now goes, all you can do is take part in card based battles. You have a collection of cards to draw from and these do things like attack, defend, use abilities, and so on. If you win a battle, you get to pick from a selection of cards to add to your collection to help you in other battles. At the moment, there is very, very little content, but what is here does work well enough.

Making Your Mark

You get to create your own character in Monster Charmer, I went for a hot babe, but I have seen pictures of dudes as well, but that was not on offer for the version I played. The game looks decent enough and you have a lot of choice in what your character looks like. I only saw two lewd scenes and they looked good and were animated well. If you check out the official page for the game, you will see a whole bunch of images and character models that are not in the game (or at least the version of the game I played) so I do have those to look forward to in a future update. Even in this early stage, I feel like this is a pretty solid looking lewd game.

Pros:

• You can make your own character
• There are some very nice visuals here
• I enjoyed the card based gameplay
• If they can pull this off, it will be an epic lewd game

Cons:

• There is very little gameplay in the version I played
• There is pretty much zero story in the game right now
