Priestess Lust

Solve puzzles, evade monsters, and watch cute anime girls getting it on in the excitingly dark Priestess Lust. This adventure game will see your character navigate the dark hallways of her own castle, where evil monsters (with a very healthy libido) now roam free. Making it out of your castle alive – and with your dignity intact – won’t be as easy as it sounds.

Priestess Lust plays like the average point-and-click adventure, mixed with a bit of Fear and Hunger. You play as Mira, a priestess who’s been abducted by monsters and forced to become their plaything. But that ends now. Hopefully, I mean. Escaping to the deepest parts of the castle isn’t easy when everything within its walls wants you (literally).

Pixelated Escapades

Games like Thimbleweed Park attempted to resurrect the fading point-and-click genre, but I’m sure that Priestess Lust will do it for you much better, even if you never touched The Secret of Monkey Island before. Sure, all the sex scenes mean this game is not for everyone, but that’s not all what Priestess Lust is about.

Exploration plays an integral role in this game. You’ll need to be thorough if you hope to find a way out from all the madness. Or, you know, find yourself in more trouble – that’s always an option. Even then, there’s one minor gripe I have with this game – and it’s something the developer calls a “feature”.

Short Rounds

Let’s get this out of the way: Priestess Lust is short. Very short, in fact. There are only three levels to play, and honestly, they don’t look too visually different to justify being 3 different stages. If anything, the developer could have gone with the Castlevania approach and set the game in a single, connected castle.

As for the endings, there were only two in the build I got to play. One where your character escapes the castle, and one where she doesn’t. That’s good and all, but it makes Priestess Lust feel more like a proof of concept and less like a finished game. Even more niche games like Catte Castle 2 feel more fleshed out in that regard.

Quality is Key

Even if the game is somewhat lacking in terms of content, it makes up for its weaknesses with its solid presentation. The pixelated visuals look great with tons of unique animations for every naughty scenario you can think of. Every creature and character in this world is intricately detailed and well animated, something you just don’t see in most porn games.

Then, there’s the audio. Made by the same creative mind behind the beautiful sprites, Priestess Lust features great background music to set the mood. There’s also some voice acting involved, which is increasingly rare in this genre. All things considered, even the game can feel a bit short, it’s more than worth a playthrough if you’re into this kind of game.
