Guilty Hell 2

I was recommended Guilty Hell 2 by a friend who also loves lewd games and I am so happy that they drew my attention to this game. I am always down for a lewd game that is not a visual novel or some kind of sandbox adventure game. Hey, nothing wrong with those genres, I actually like them, but when I saw that this was a 2D side scroller I knew that it was a game that I had to check out and give a try. I was very impressed and think that this is a very solid game and I have not even played the first game.

Nana, That’s His Name

As I write this, Guilty Hell 2 has not been fully translated into English. From what I gather, I think that there could be some kind of cool fantasy story somewhere deep in this game. To be fair, I never played the first game so perhaps I am missing something. There is this wizard called Nana that has been sealed away and we are now trying to…. Look, I am not sure if we are trying to free him or stop him from being freed as I was not able to follow the story due to it not being translated. I am not hating on the developer, if anything it is my ignorant ass only knowing English!

Some Ground And Pound!

I was impressed with the gameplay of Guilty Hell 2, even though I was not able to follow the story, I was having a blast plowing through the stages. This is a 2D action game where you have to fight off any enemies that come your way. I would say that this is more in the hack and slash beat-em-up category than it is an RPG, but I mean that in a complimentary way. The game controls really well and you cannot just button mash, you need to use some strategy, especially when you have a tougher enemy that wants to kill you. I will say that after five minutes, you are going to know if this is a game for you or not as the gameplay never really changes.

Horny Combat

One of the things that I found pretty neat about Guilty Hell 2 was that the lewd/sex scenes are not just things that you unlock by beating a level or something like that. They are tied to the actual gameplay which I thought was really neat. It is the kind of thing where if you are not successful with an enemy, your big boobs and butt are theirs and they are going to have their way with you. I thought this was a lot of fun, but I will admit that I did feel like I was seeing the same sex scene over and over again, all be it perhaps with a different looking character.

Feel The Glow

I am really liking what they have done with the visuals in Guilty Hell 2. The characters have a kind of Vanilaware look about them, think of stuff like Dragons Crown and even the recent Unicorn Overlord and you will have an idea of what I am talking about. What really surprised me with the game was the background art. Now, these at face value are not the most exciting looking backgrounds in the world, but they all have this kind of glow to them, be it green, blue, purple, or whatever. It is hard to describe, but it is a cool effect that gives the game some personality. To be honest, if this were not the case, the levels would look a bit on the bland side.

Pros:

• I thought the main character was pretty hot
• The sex is tied to the combat which is fun
• The combat was challenging and a pretty exciting
• I liked the way the levels had this kind of ambient glow to them

Cons:

• The story is not translated properly so very hard to follow
• I wish it had a few high end sex scenes as well as the stuff that happens in the game
