Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator

I have played some weird games over the years, but Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator might just be the weirdest! You have heard of dating sims and visual novel games, right? Well, that is exactly what we have here except this one has a premise unlike anything I have ever encountered.

Tank Girl, But Not Lori Petty

First of all, thumbs up if you get my dated reference there. Ok, so stay with me here as I explain what the deal with this game is. The main character of the game is a young man by the name of Erwin Lemmor and he has just transferred to a very prestigious military school where he is going to learn about the tanks of World War II.

Ok so far this all sounds normal right and you are probably thinking that you will be reading about him romancing the other students…. Well, that is not exactly the case. You are studying tanks, but these tanks all look like hot Japanese schoolgirls. Yep, that is right in this game the tanks are girls!

Tanks From All Over!

One of the most fun things about this game is the personality of the girls, I mean tanks! You see each girl/tank is based on an actual real-life World War II tank. The charm of Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator is really evident here as the girls each have a ton of personality and each one has many stereotypes of the country that they represent. The writing is great and the story, for the most part, made me have a big smile on my face the whole time I was playing it. My only complaint about the story is that it is over way too quickly!

You do of course get to hook up with these tank girls, but the game is not graphic or over the top like many other visual novel dating sims are. There is a real tongue in cheek thing about the whole game and that is something I really do like.

That Is One Great Pair Of Tanks!

The girls all look great, I have established that, but the art, in general, is very impressive and I think that Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator really is a great looking game. These girls manage to walk (on feet not treads) the fine line between being cute, funny and super-hot. This is something I have seen other games try but often fail.

I really am at a loss for words that a game like Panzermadels: Tank Dating Simulator even exists. I know calling something like this a “game” is a bit of a stretch, but if you like visual novels, you are in for a treat here. The premise is just insane, but the game is fully aware of this and as a result, you will be smiling the whole time you are trying to show your tank knowledge…. All the while hooking up with them!

• It just oozes charm, cuteness and sex appeal
• The writing is great
• You will love the art style of the game

• The ending is not the best
• The game is a little on the short side
