Princess Farmer is a combination of different game genres, it has match 3 puzzle mechanics, action, and visual novel included, so there's a lot to unpack in here.

Princess Farmer used to be your everyday ordinary farmer, but her life completely changed when one day she woke up and realized she was under the Gaia Tree, and she received the magic of Mother Gaia, who's basically mother nature. With this power, she can immediately grow veggies out of the ground to win the matches and smash the obstacles too.

But this magical event didn’t come up all by itself, as there’s something mysterious going on in the forest. Now that you can use these new powers, you have the task of finding out what’s going on, solving the puzzles to get to the bottom of it all. And don’t worry, you don’t have to do it alone, as you can have an AI to help you, or play it in cooperative mode too.

But that's not all there is, as there's also a relationship mechanic in the game in which you'll have to get to know the different characters and make friends with them. Get to know them better to understand their situation and what they're going through at the moment. Building meaningful relationships can be a key part of understanding the mystery behind what's going on in the forest.

An interesting mix

One of the things that make this game interesting is the mix of mechanics and game styles. When you play a match 3 puzzle game you usually expect it to be just that, as it is a game genre mostly reserved for casual games. But this also includes a lot of elements of visual novels, and while it isn’t as deep or ground shaking as titles like Doki Doki Literature Club, it’s certainly something cool to see in a game like this.
