Warden's Will

When I heard Warden's Will described as a 3D bullet hell shooter, my eyebrows leaped off my head I was so intrigued to find out more about this. The more I looked into it, the more I got excited and I can easily see this game being regarded as one of the best shooters of 2025! This is sci-fi action at its best and it is all tied together with this very cool art style which truly does make it pop. Best of all, you can play this on your own, but you can also jump in and play with your buddies as it offers up to three player co-op!

The Wardens of the Galaxy

As I write this I do not know the full extent of the lore that is going on in Warden's Will. However, I do know that the idea is that we play as one of these wardens and we head from planet to planet, trying to stop the chaos that is happening and bring things back to some kind of normalcy. I am pretty pumped to actually find out more about the story of the game as I like how it is sci-fi, but I am getting the impression that this is not meant to be taken all that seriously.

The Right Warden For You

With Warden's Will being a bullet hell roguelike style of game, there is a lot of character customization at hand here and that is awesome. From new abilities, weapons, and so on. Each run will see you become a little stronger and get a better idea of what kind of build is right for your playstyle. However, it all starts with you picking the right Warden. Each of the wardens has their own movement style and special abilities so picking the right one is important. It also means that you can have fun trying them out to see which one clicks for you. You can play as a Dasher, Flyer, or a Hover and each one has their own style that makes them a unique experience.

3D Bullet Hell Madness

The gameplay of Warden's Will is fast, frantic, and super fun. Each of the characters plays differently and you will be running, jumping, zooming, and even flying through the stages, blasting away at anything that moves as everything wants you dead. Being so nimble is the key to what makes this fun as you can zip around the stages, getting in and out of battles and this is why I think it works so well. I thought that a 3D game with bullet hell shooter mechanics would be a nightmare, but as you can move so quickly, with the right skills, it is possible to dodge just right. This is going to be a game that has a bit of a learning curve for sure, but it is a fun learning curve if that makes sense. I am equally excited to test my own skills as well as seeing how teaming up with my friends will go too! In some ways the gameplay reminds me of a more refined and faster-paced MDK from the original PlayStation, man, I freaking loved that game back in the day!

Cell Shading To Get The Point Across

Not only does Warden's Will have super cool and fast-paced gameplay, but this game also has a very slick and stylish vibe about it as far as the presentation goes too. The game has this cell-shaded effect, think of stuff like Borderlands and Viewtiful Joe and you will have an idea of what I am talking about. The visuals really do pop and I like that they went for this art style as it means you have a more fair and fighting chance as it is not too hard to see the millions of bullets and enemies that are coming your way. Also, from what I have heard so far, this game has a pretty pumping and badass soundtrack that goes great with the flashy visuals.

Pros:

• The whole vibe of the game is so freaking cool
• I love the bullet hell shooter but in 3D gameplay
• The different Wardens are all unique so you will want to try them all
• The character progression and upgrade system will be very addictive

Cons:

• I am not sure how much substance there will be to the story
• Will some of the enemy attacks be a little hard to see on certain stages?
