XXZ: XXL is a fun adult puzzle game that is set in a zombie apocalypse! Before you jump into this game, I recommend that you check out the free demo version of it to see if it is for you. This follows what that offered pretty much exactly, but there are much more levels for you to play through here. I am getting really into this adult puzzle genre and the fact that this one here has zombies…. Actually, zombie strippers, in it makes it pretty damn cool in my book!

Zombie Strippers!

I once saw a movie called Zombies vs Strippers or was it called Stripper vs Zombies? Anyway, the whole premise of a zombie story being set in a strip club has always been something that I thought was fun. The story in XXZ: XXL sees a zombie apocalypse take hold of the world, but this is no ordinary zombie apocalypse! This one only affects the ladies and as you were in a strip club when this all went down, you are in for a scary, naughty, and sexy time indeed.

Match Three RPG!

Hey, that rhymed! When you see the trailer for this game, it looks very simple and like your standard match three style of game. I went into this thinking I would match three icons together and deal damage to a zombie stripper. Gameplay in XXZ: XXL is far more complex than that, however! This game has a terrible tutorial that makes it seem more complicated than it actually is. It has an RPG turn based battle system at play. You have a party and only the character on the far right can deal damage or be damaged. You need to plan out what you are going to do, who you are going to use, and so on! Granted, you do have to “match three” but there is more to contend with than just that. It took me a while to get into this as I could not get my head around it. Once I did, I did start having a lot of fun.

Zombie Tramp

What really drew me to XXZ: XXL was the art style. I am a massive fan of this comic book series called Zombie Tramp. It is a hilarious tale of a high-class hooker who becomes a zombie and takes down bad guys. The art style of this game in regards to the zombies very much reminds me of Zombie Tramp.

It is awesome the way that they are able to make the zombies look sexy! I do wish that there was a bigger variety of zombies and the sounds that they make, but what is here is done well and I like it.

I will admit that the gameplay arc of XXZ: XXL took me by surprise and I was not sure if this was going to be a game that I enjoyed. I stuck with it for the art, but the gameplay eventually made sense to me and I had a good time. So much so that when I beat all of the levels, I was a bit bummed out that there were not more of them for me to play. This is a fun game, but just know going in that it is way more difficult than a traditional match three puzzle game.
