Alone XP

Today I am checking out AloneXP which is an erotic RPG that is made with RPG Maker. This is a lewd game that I did actually have quite a bit of interest in as it is a game that does not exactly have a ton of information about it out there. After spending a few hours with it recently I thought I would give my thoughts on how the game is shaping up. As far as I can tell, the current version of the game is still not 100 percent finished, but that may no longer be the case by the time you read this.

You Are The Devine!

The story of the game is pretty much a fantasy that all of us guys have had at one point. You play as a person that is simply known as The Devine. AloneXP is set in a fantasy world and in this world, there are only women! As you would expect that makes you pretty much the most awesome person in this place!

The thing is, how you use your “power” is really down to you. As the story progresses you will be helping women, but you will also be helping yourself by giving in to your own sexual desires.

Final Lewdness

I was happy enough with the visuals of the game. I do feel that AloneXP is a game that is playing it very safe in terms of the in-game graphics. I say this because it has a very old school Final Fantasy vibe going on. This is a style that many lewd RPGs that are made in RPG Maker tend to go for. Do not get me wrong, the game looks decent enough, but it has a style you will have seen many times before. One area of the game that is very impressive is the lewd images that you can obtain as you play. Getting to bang the chicks in this game is great as it is usually accompanied by a very well-drawn CG that is sure to get your motor running if you know what I am saying. There is this one girl who is a dead ringer for Chun-Li from Street Fighter and that is cool!

Finding Your Way

The gameplay is a lot of fun. It may be your typical RPG Maker RPG, but AloneXP is a game that does what it does very well. In many ways, it has a real “old-school” kind of thing going on with the gameplay. You will talk to the people, take on quests, get new items, level up, and so on. There is a fair bit to do in the game and I found myself having fun exploring and getting into trouble.

The combat is turn based and you have a decent number of attacks that you can do as well as special powers. I do not think the combat system is super deep and you will probably not have any trouble as long as you are playing the game right. Still, even though it is trying nothing new, it is a solid combat system.

Pros:

• I liked the idea of being the only dude!
• Lots of sex lewds to check out!
• The combat is basic, but it is also fun
• The game has a classic RPG kind of feel to it
• It does not take ages to get to the end

Cons:

• The game plays it very safe in every way
• Some of the sex may be a tad graphic for the faint of heart
