Crave Saga

For a gay Gacha game, Crave Saga managed to get a hold of me that I did not expect. I pretty much give any Gacha game a try that I like the look of, but so far I am proud to say that I have never given into the Gacha system and thrown my money at them. I tend to play until I feel I can no longer progress by playing the game for free and then that is my time to take my bow and leave. However, this game has some of the most fun and adorable characters that I have played as in a game and I was very, very tempted to throw some money at this.

Angels And Demons

The setting for Crave Saga is really cool. The world that the game takes place in is called, Vestria and this is a medieval/fantasy type of world. There are normal people and furry people trying to live their lives here and they are at the mercy of angels and demons. The angels want to lead them to some kind of utopia and the demons… well they want to do what demons want to do. This is such a fun premise, but the game does have a bit of a wacky translation in some places.

The Sword In The Stone!

The protagonist that we play as in Crave Saga is your regular guy from the real world, he loves his anime stuff, but then one day, he finds himself reincarnated in the land of Vestria and he has been brought here to be the savior that the lands needs. As well as this main story, the really awesome stuff here is the character “bonds” You see bonds and relationships between the characters are very important in this game and there are so many fun and cute characters that you get to try and build relationships with. I am not even a huge furry guy, but Gabu the bear may very well be my soulmate.

A Bear And A Buff Dude Walk Into A Bar

I have played a ton of gay games and I would have to put Crave Saga right up there in regards to the best character designs. I just spoke about Gabu and he is this freaking adorable bear. However, there is also Hakuma who is some kind of tough huskie/wolf character. As well as the furry style characters, you do also have a great range of buff hunky dudes here as well such as Adamas. The whole game has this really bright and colorful style and it is impossible not to love it. Of course, you have some risqué content here, but I think the cuteness and charming factor the game has is the best thing it has to offer as far as the visuals go.

Right About What You Would Expect

At the end of the day, Crave Saga was designed as a mobile style Gacha game and that means pretty much everything you would expect to be here is. The main gameplay aspects though are the turn based combat and the bond system. You need to build bonds with characters to join you in battle and I find that this social style element to the gameplay was fun and what ultimately had me hooked. The game has raids, bosses, relics, weapons, upgrades, and much more to keep you busy. Of course, you can play the game for free, but they always have a hunky hand out asking for a couple of bucks here or there to speed up your progression.

Pros:

• Gabu is my spirit animal/furry dude for life
• I just love the whole art style that this game has going on
• The combat system and the bond system are a lot of fun
• This is a solid Gacha game, honestly one of the better ones I have played

Cons:

• The game is men only and there are furry characters which are not everyone’s cup of tea
• At the end of the day, this is a Gacha game and it does have the typical Gacha drawbacks
