Delirium

I went into Delirium with pretty high expectations. As I am writing this I am clearly a lover of lewd video games, but what you may not also know is that I am a huge horror fan. Actually, horror is my “jam” so when we get a lewd game that looks like it has a horror story to play through it is something that I get very excited about. What we have here is a game that feels like it is the middle part of a trilogy and I say that because, in all honesty, I have had no idea what the hell was going on here! Thankfully, this is quite a short game so it is not asking a great deal of your time.

A Visit To A Strange House

I think that the premise of Delirium is decent enough. The main characters wife is away on business, but where she is working at the moment is pretty close by. The husband decides that he and his daughter will go and visit the wife at work and that is where all hell breaks loose. As I said, I have no clue what the actual “horror” here is. I think it is like a haunted house kind of thing, but the game does not explain anything! It really is like I should have played another game before coming to this as it is like the game expects me to know a great deal of lore.

To Do Or Not To Do

As Delirium is a visual novel the gameplay arc that you have here is that you need to pick various choices to move the story along. The thing is all of the choices, well that might be an exaggeration, but let’s say 90 percent of the choices just boil down to having sex or not having sex. It is a very simple kind of game and if you just want to see some sex, great, however, if you want a lewd game with some substance, this is not going to do anything to blow you away. Again, for a good old fashioned sex fest, this is good, but for those that want more from the gameplay and the story, you will probably be disappointed.

Lots Of Stock Sex!

As I said, there is a fair bit of XXX content in Delirium, however, it is rather by the numbers and pretty basic stuff. Hey, it looks good and there is animation here, but there is nothing that really wowed me, and once I had seen what I think were all the sex scenes the game had to offer, only about 45 minutes had passed! I guess as the game is shallow, this is pretty good to be fair.

Pros:

• The horror premise that the story has did show some promise
• The renders are pretty good
• It gets to the sex pretty quickly
• The game does not ask too much of your time

Cons:

• I still have no idea what the hell the story it was trying to tell is!
• While it gets straight to the sex, it is pretty by the numbers and basic stuff
