Dominatrix Simulator: Threshold is one of the best lewd VR games I have ever played and I am saying that after only playing the early access version of the game! That is good, because I am very excited to tell you why this is such a great game and why it is one of my favorite lewd VR games.

Yes, Mistress!

The idea of Dominatrix Simulator: Threshold is that we are in this realm that is ruled by these big, powerful mistresses who will use us to get the sexual pleasure that they desire. The story unfolds with us basically agreeing to be their plaything and letting them dominate us or trying to stand up to them. The stuff here is very well written and each of the four mistresses was unique and had her own personality which made playing with each of them so much fun.

I Want To Play A Game

I say that there are four mistresses, but really there are three main ones. The fourth mistress in Dominatrix Simulator: Threshold serves as the host of the game who teaches you how to play it. This game has one of the best tutorials I have seen in a VR game. It teaches you how to play it and what you will be doing. However, it is also story driven and sets the tone for what is to come. The game lets you pick your gender and what you like to be called and this will change the way you experience the game which I thought was neat.

Sugar And Spice!

I have played more than a few lewd VR games and I think that Dominatrix Simulator: Threshold has the best lineup of girls that I have had the pleasure to experience. The girls range from a cute and perky one to a dark gothic chick with a more twisted side. It is just fantastic stuff all around and as different as the girls are, I like them all for different reasons. The game being a VR game really does a great job of making you feel like you are in the middle of the action. The scene with the mistress in the attic where she forces you to play her dice game was one of the most immersive and “real” VR porn situations I have had!

Say It Again!

The game has a great premise, the dominatrix girls look great and it is even fun to play, but the most surprising aspect of Dominatrix Simulator: Threshold was the voice acting. This not only has the best voice acting I have ever experienced in a VR porn game, but I would put it up there with the best voice acting of any VR game that I have played. This is just amazing stuff and the girls feel real and I did feel like they were actually talking to me! I know that sounds silly as this kind of immersion is what VR is all about, but not many games have made me feel like the character is actually talking to me like this one did.

Pros:

• Each of the four mistresses feels unique
• The stuff with the girl in the attic was amazing
• This has some of the best voice acting I have experienced in a VR game
• I could happily play this over and over again

Cons:

• You do have to be into dom and BDSM to really get into this
• I wish that they would add more girls!

While it may have been taboo back in the day to state your sexual proclivities, with this being the age of sexual freedom and empowerment, it’s fine to shout from the rooftops that you like to be gagged, dominated, pegged or spanked. Let’s begin with this games main feature, it’s VR functionality. While this is still a game that is very much in development, we have to say that the functionality available works very well and will get many fans riled up in all the right ways. You will be able to reach out and grab, stroke and squeeze in the most realistic way possible. So long as your master allows you. It really adds to the experience and makes the whole process an authentic one.

Then moving on to the gameplay. This game lives and dies on it’s ability to produce stern, sexy characters that take charge. Luckily, this game does this very well. You will have the choice of a other worldly witch lady, a slutty maid or a goth chick. Three very popular themes for fans to choose from and each offers a unique experience that will tantalise players and leave them begging for more.

The only thing that is quite lacking at the moment is the actual gameplay. There is no real means of succeeding. There is no core gameplay loop and there is no pass or fail to this game. You simply use the VR to complete simple movements and the story or screen progresses. I understand that this takes the control away from the player which is on brand but surely there should be some sort of reward to chase or some sexy gimmicks thrown in to spice it up.

The Verdict

Overall, this is still very much a work in progress. The game has excellent VR functionality and hits a lot of the key notes when it comes to appealing to the sub community at large.
