I have to say, FindingBuddies is one of the best gay lewd visual novels that I have had the pleasure to play in a very long time! This is a game that manages to get everything right!

A Very Gay Slice Of Life

The best thing that this game has going for it is the story and our main character, Daniel. There is a military-type setting here, but basically, Daniel is a guy who is just trying to find his place in the world. He is a deep and interesting character, and I think that the game does a great job of making us warm up to him. I also liked how he was not this macho, trying way too hard to be an “alpha” kind of guy; he is just normal- well, he is more of a sub, but I do not think that the writing makes that his whole personality.

Being Your Own Man

While I did say that FindingBuddies has you playing more of a sub kind of role, the choices that the game gives you do let you deviate from this path if you like. For a lewd visual novel, I think that this game manages to walk the line of having an engaging story and also letting you make what feel like key choices, without those derailing things and making the character act weird or stuff not make sense. I could easily see myself playing through this again, as I know for a fact that I did not see all of the XXX scenes that the game has.

Not Sure How They Did It!

One of the most impressive things about this game is that it looks fantastic and that the game is not a huge memory hog as a result! This game has some amazing-looking guys, and they all have a more natural look to them. Sure, they are in great shape, but the setting of the game means that this makes sense. There are a solid number of sex scenes here, and they are very nicely animated too, which is always something I like to see. The sex scenes are very hardcore, but they actually make sense in the story. Oh, not only does it look great, but the sound design and voice acting are fantastic too.

• I thought Daniel was a very likable character
• There is a lot of drama and heart to this story
• The presentation is incredible!

Cons:

• The gay theming may not be for everyone
• Honestly, I cannot think of anything that I did not like!

FindingBuddies is a gay visual novel built on the Unity engine, in which players take on the role of a young man named Daniel. After turning 18, he decides to live his own life and moves out of his parents’ house. At first, he joins the army, where he lives in a barracks with a bunch of guys and not a single girl (there won’t be any in the game at all). And one evening in the shower, he accidentally “lands” on a fellow soldier’s penis with his butt. From that moment on, he chooses a path of non-traditional orientation, trying to sleep with as many guys as possible. After returning home, your best friend will be the first victim, followed by your classmates, and then all your male neighbors.

Game Features

• Some sex scenes are very dark
• The main character is red-haired and covered in freckles, and doesn’t look like a sex symbol at all, but everyone has their own tastes
• You can chat with guys online using your phone, sending them dick pics and photos of your butt
• There are animated scenes; the video using the glory hole turned out to be especially addictive
