Jerezs Arena

I was drawn into Jerezs Arena thanks to the incredible visuals that the game has. It has some truly spectacular lewd artwork and I am not ashamed to admit that a huge reason why I spent so much time with the game was to see all of the gorgeous XXX artwork. What we have here is a game that is part visual novel and part trainer/slave/manager game. I think that there are some great ideas at play here, but the game does have some problems which I feel may make some people lose interest pretty quickly.

Earning Her Freedom

The story of Jerezs Arena is something that I think is pretty good. We have this very hot girl called Claudia that you have basically come into ownership of. As you value money more than anything else, you will make her compete in the fighting arena. She is going to fight for you to make you money, but to also earn their freedom. I have to say that I thought the story being told here was actually far better than it had any right to be and it kept me interested longer than I thought it would.

The Work Of A True Artist

We have to talk about the best thing that Jerezs Arena has going on for it and that is the incredible artwork. Even without it being fully animated, this is a truly gorgeous looking game that has some excellent lewd content. Even when there is not some kind of XXX scene going down, Claudia looks fantastic and the whole game has this very high-quality cell shaded kind of design to it that I am a massive fan of. I think that the art alone was probably what kept me pushing forward with this game.

More Than Just Looks

The gameplay on offer in Jerezs Arena was far deeper than I thought it would be. You have to manage and level up Claudia so that she can fight in the arena and progress through the game. There are many different stats that you have to level up such as strength, agility, stamina, lewdness, kinkiness, obedience, and much more. You also have different “areas” that can be leveled up too such as the gym, lounge, and bathroom. The combat system in the game is fun and kind of “Pokémon” like which I thought did show some promise.

Time Is Money And Money Is Time

So, Jerezs Arena looks great, has a decent story, and has a lot of depth to the gameplay, so what is the problem? Well, the problem is the grind that this game has! Everything in this game requires money and it takes what feels like an age to make any significant progress in the game. The rate at which you progress is painfully slow and it can feel like you are getting nowhere. The gameplay is fine, but the progression is not and it kind of spoils the game if I am being honest.

Pros:

• This game looks amazing!
• I liked the story that was being told
• There is a lot of depth to the gameplay
• While simple, I enjoyed the combat in the game

Cons:

• The rate of progression is far too slow
• The game looks great, but having all of it animated would have been truly amazing!
