Knightess of the Subterranean Castle

If you want a bit of souls like gameplay in your lewd game, Knightess of the Subterranean Castle could be the game you have been looking for. This is a fun XXX 3rd person action game that I had a blast with. Now, I will warn you that this is very short and I would not disagree with someone who said that they felt this was more of a demo than a full game. However, from what I understand, what we have here is pretty much the full game so perhaps the dev is using this as a stepping stone to something much bigger. They certainly have the base for a fantastic AAA lewd game experience here.

Going Deep Into The Dungeon

While the title of the game is Knightess of the Subterranean Castle, it is a dark and dangerous dungeon that we are actually exploring. There is not a huge narrative that we are working with here, more of a premise and that premise is that there is a castle with a dungeon that is unleashing all kinds of monsters into a nearby village. As the strongest female knight in the land, we are tasked with heading to the dungeon and putting a stop to this evil. To be fair, this is a very short game so we do not get a ton of stuff here with the story, but what is here is more than enough to give you the basic gist.

It Feels So Good!

I do think that we have seen a real rise in lewd games that are trying to go beyond a visual novel or some kind of point and click adventure game. Knightess of the Subterranean Castle was well and truly shocked me by how good the core gameplay felt. Our protagonist has some weight to her, but she also feels nimble, her attacks feel big and meaty and I liked how there was a dodge and parry system, similar to something like you get in a Dark Souls game. You have a selection of magical abilities too and this is neat as you get the ammunition/mana for these by killing enemies which encourages you to go on the offense. There is not a ton to the game, but what is here works really well and it is actually a lot of fun to play.

So How Short Are We Talking Here?

You may have heard me mention that Knightess of the Subterranean Castle is a short game, but that does not mean it is a bad thing. Lewd Leaf Land is one of my favorite lewd games of all time and you can beat that in one sitting! I would take quality over quantity any day. Take Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for example, I love that game, but does it need to be like 70 hours long? I would say that to play this game you are looking at 30 minutes to play through everything that is here. That is not an exaggeration and I guess if you were to walk slowly and look at every nook and cranny, you may get to 40 minutes! This is a game that is certainly short and sweet which is why some people are convinced this is more of a demo.

I Was Not Ready For That Golden Shower

The visuals of Knightess of the Subterranean Castle are a bit of a mixed bag for me. On one hand, I love how hot this main character is, she is very easy on the eyes and she had a nice jiggle about her when she was running through the dungeon if you get what I mean! However, this is one of those games where most of the lewd content is this hot babe getting banged by these ugly monsters. There is a golden shower scene with a gross green goblin that creeped me out. To be honest, the quality of the XXX stuff is fantastic, but it is something of an acquired taste.

Pros:

• The gameplay feels very good
• I was impressed with the depth that the combat had
• The main character is very easy on the eyes
• I could see this becoming a huge hit with a bit more work

Cons:

• You can see all this game has to offer in about 30 minutes
• The lewd content is of a high quality, but it is not going to appeal to everyone
