Lida's Adventures

From what I understand Lida’s Adventures is a game that has been around for a while and the developer is still working on it. I am always willing to give a lewd RPG style of game a chance and this one as it had a pretty hot protagonist, I thought could be a great deal of fun. It is one of those games that can be fun, but I think that perhaps it is also a game that is just a tad too ambitious for its own good. Keep on reading to see if this is a game you could get into.

New Town, Crazy Problems

As the title of Lida’s Adventures suggests, our main character is a chick called Lida. She along with her husband have just moved to a new town to start a new life, but her husband ends up kidnapped! This leads Lida on a wild adventure of fear, danger, discovery, and a lot of sex in order to find him. It is a fun idea and I like the way that the story does not take itself too seriously. There were even a few moments that legit made me laugh so I give the developer a lot of credit for that.

Spreading It Around Time

If you have played a lewd RPG Maker style of game before, Lida’s Adventures is going to be a game that you have no problems getting into. On the flip side of this, it is also a game that has a very familiar kind of feeling to it. Thankfully, this is not a completely obscure and convoluted style of game. The game world is not too big so even if you do get a bit lost, like I did, you can find your next objective fairly quickly. Who Invited Mr. Magoo?

Ok, so I am sure that some of you guys will have gotten a chuckle from my Mr. Magoo reference and then the rest will be like “who the hell is Mr. Magoo?” Anyway, the point I am trying to make here is about the visuals of Lida’s Adventures. The RPG and gameplay sections are done well, they have that classic top down style and things are pretty well done. However, it is the renders and the sex content that is a real mixed bag here. You have Lida who is a nice looking character, there is a sexy cop who is my favorite character in the game and then we have all these old weird looking dudes! Seriously the male characters for the most part are just flat out gross and weird looking and spoil what would otherwise be great sex scenes!

Pros:

• I thought that Lida was a pretty interesting character
• The RPG style gameplay is kind of fun
• Some of the female character renders are great
• The game has had many updates

Cons:

• This game has some of the ugliest male character renders I have ever seen!
• If you are not into RPG Maker style games, you may struggle to get into this game
