Painting Thief

Painting Thief is an upcoming (well upcoming as I write this) lewd game that came across my radar the other day that well and truly captivated me. The publisher who is putting this out has their name attached to some fantastic lewd games, especially ones that have come out in the last couple of years. That is really what has gotten me very excited about this and I wanted to share what I know about the game to hopefully get more people interested in the game.

Stealing His Passion

The story of Painting Thief is actually very interesting. Our main character is a sexy looking chick called, Marcia and she is married to a man that is a very talented artist. He created a lovely piece of art that is worth a lot of money. However, this no-good SOB art dealer plans to screw the artist over and make sure that he is the one who gets all the profit! Marcia learns of his plan and sets out to make him pay! This is a lewd game so it is basically about revenge and getting banged!

Metal Gear Lewd!

One of the things that made me interested in Painting Thief is the gameplay. At first glance, it looks like your typical lewd RPG style of game, but this is more of a stealth style of game. You will have to clear each area of its enemies and you need to sneak around and use the environment to your advantage to make this happen. Marica can also use magic as a way of distracting people and leading them where she wants. Clearly, this is a more basic kind of stealth game, but it does look like it is a lot of fun. There are various difficulty settings too for those that want an easier or harder time. There are also these big boss battles which look cool too!

A Game About Art That Has Great Art!

Visually, Painting Thief is very, very easy on the eyes. The CGs and portraits in this game are some of the best that I have seen in some time. Marcia manages to walk that fine line of being cute and really sexy at the same time which many developers struggle to pull off. The lewd content that I have seen so far looks great and it even has animation too. I like how bright and colorful the game is. It is about an artist after all so I am glad that they put in a ton of effort to make sure the game looks good. Speaking of “the game” (no not Triple H) the actual gameplay of Painting Thief is done in a top down, almost Link to the Past kind of way and this is nice and colorful too. It is easy to see what is going on and the levels are designed with stealth in mind. When you come across a boss, they are much bigger and more impressive sprites than the standard enemies.

Pros:

• I like Maria as our hero
• The lewd content that I have seen looks very impressive
• The stealth gameplay on offer here is fun
• There are different difficulty options that make the game great for all skill levels

Cons:

• The translation so far seems a tad off
• I am not sure how many levels will be in the game
