QOSM: A Mom NTR

It’s short, dirty, and straight to the point – which is just the kind of content anyone who’s into naughty visual novels is in for.

Lust for Laughs

The story never takes itself too seriously. If you’re wondering if this one’s going to have those weird moral dilemmas we saw in games like Summertime Saga, rest assured: “Pleasure” is the only thing that matters in this game. Sure, the plot can get somewhat dark at times, but it never gets in the way of the fun.

As for the plot itself, it’s surprisingly flexible. I played version 3.0 of the game, which the developer mentions added a lot more branching paths to the mix. Honestly, I was surprised by how much room for decision-making there is for the player. Coming from those linear “kinetic visual novels,” QOSM feels like a breath of fresh air.

Gorgeous “Vistas”

Any porn visual novel lives or dies by the quality of their pre-rendered scenes. In QOSM’s case, we have a bit of a mixed bag in our hands. Characters look great for the most part, and there’s a healthy environment variety that should keep things interesting for players.

That said, some of the more, let’s say, “intimate” scenes showcase the limitations of the 3D models used by the developer. I wasn’t expecting anything on the same level as Honey Select 2: Libido, but some scenes feature body parts that might not even exist in human females. As long as you don’t find the uncanny character models too distracting, they serve their purpose perfectly well.

Choices that Matter

NTR games, for the most part, love to force players into their fetish. Not even Corruption of Champions leaned as heavily on its transformation sequences. That’s great if you love netorare, but for players who just want to enjoy a well-written porn visual novel, QOSM has got them covered.

Sure, NTR is still the star of the show, but it’s not like you would expect. For starters, the mother/son dynamic already spices things up, forcing the developer to think outside the box with the plot. Even if you’re not into the whole “being cucked” mentality, QOSM remains an engaging adult visual novel with more than enough quality content to give you a good time. It’s a shame it’s over so quickly.
