Scandal

Scandal is a lewd visual novel game that is currently abandoned so what we have is basically what we have. There is still a few hours to sink your teeth into, but from what I have seen, this is a game where those who have played it are not exactly devastated that the story does not have a proper resolution. This is a game that just misses on so many levels that it kind of makes you want to keep on playing it so you can see what the heck they are going to do next or if there is going to be any kind of payoff.

Your Lifestyle Is At Stake!

That is the big tagline for Scandal, but what the heck does that even mean? I read the synopsis of this a few times before I played it and then multiple times after I played it to make sure I was not missing something. The Italian setting is really cool and we have this family that has a rather affluent lifestyle, but that is now at threat thanks to a series of events that were brought on by a global crisis! The premise is very cool and certainly intrigued me, but the execution needed some major editing.

Who's The Mama?

If you are into lewd games, chances are you have played many where you play as the hot mom. The hot mom here is called Sandra and she has an equally hot daughter. The problem is, Sandra looks like she is about 25 max and her daughter looks more like her sister. Then we have her character, Sandra flat out sucks as a character. She is very unlikable and acts like she is about 12 and she can be very dumb and obnoxious and that makes it very hard to get into the story when the character we play as is so unlikable.

Hey Good Looking

I will say that Sandra is hot and probably the main reason why Scandal kept me interested as long as it did. The daughter is also very attractive and I do like the kind of realistic look that the game has gone for. However, the game has a very rough and rushed kind of look to it all. The animations have many errors and it just gives the game a very unfinished (which to be fair it is) look to it. It is almost like they needed someone to really playtest this thing, but they did not and just put the game out as it was.

Hey, Who Cares?

This is a lewd visual novel so that right there lets you know what to expect when it comes to the gameplay of Scandal. The game does have a few choices and I think that on paper the choices they give you could have taken you down a different path. However, I am not sure there are any other paths. There was one occasion where I said I did not want to be with or next to this guy and then in the next scene I am there anyway, what was the point? Like the presentation, the gameplay feels like it is not finished and was rushed out before having the chance to be properly tested.

Pros:

• The game has a couple of hot characters
• The story is so weird and makes no sense, some may get a kick out of it
• I feel like that there could be a good story here somewhere
• It is not going to ask for much of your time

Cons:

• The game is unfinished in every regard!
• You are going to really struggle to stay invested in this game
