This game is sex meets violence in all the best ways but is it a match made in heaven? We find out in our review of She Will Punish Them.

Pain or Pleasure?

Firstly, lets begin with the graphics on offer here. For an eroge game that doesn’t consist of slideshows of images, we have to say, the visuals are excellent. This game offers excellent animation, excellent character models and rendering. Plus, the environments and settings you battle through are genuinely up there with a lot of AA games. So if you are looking for eye candy there is plenty to be had here.

Then on that subject the game does an awful lot to appease the sex hungry fans out there. This game offers one of the most extensive character custom options that we have seen within games of this nature. You can make the girl of your dreams from the facial structure and size of the breasts, right down to the toenail varnish on their tootsies. If you are into that sort of thing. Plus the game offers tonnes of unlockable lingerie and pose options to get the most out of these features.

However, this isn’t a shallow dress up game. This is a game that mimics Dark Souls combat. Offering a variety of levels where you will slay monsters, progress through enchanted, gritty lands and collect items and weapons that will help you do so with more comfort and ease. This game may not have Soulsborne levels of refinement but you have to say, it’s very impressive considering.

The Verdict

Overall, we believe that She Will Punish Them is a great game for both conventional gamers and eroge fans alike. It’s far from perfect in the gameplay department. However, for trying such a bold combo and even achieving a modest level of success as it does is fantastic.
