Snapshot Dungeon

Snapshot Dungeon is a game that is more like a lewd scene viewer if I am being brutally honest, but that does not mean that this is a bad “game” by any means. I think if you are into monster girls, you will get a kick out of this game and have a lot of fun with the very generous amount of lewd content that it is going to be throwing your way. The thing is, there are a lot of negative reviews for this game, and to be fair, I can see why. However, as a unashamed lover of monster girls, this had more than enough to keep me entertained.

A Dangerous Job, But Someone’s Got To Do It

If you are expecting a great deal of story in Snapshot Dungeon, you may be a tad disappointed. Yet, despite that, I think the premise here is pretty awesome. We are working as a photographer, and we are tasked with taking lewd photos of monster girls for people who are willing to pay a premium price for this kind of thing! That is pretty much all the story the game gives you, but I like it as it is one that kind of forces your mind to fill in the blanks. Just do not expect some big expansive narrative and I am sure you will be ok with it.

A Click Here And A Smack There!

When it comes to the gameplay, Snapshot Dungeon is a pretty shallow experience if I am being honest. I think that this comes very, very close to being classed as a lewd scene viewer if I am being truthful. We basically pull up our phone, click around to take photos of the monster girls and then we get smacked when they have had enough of us. That is pretty much it. I will admit, I read the description of what the game was, and for some reason, I thought I was getting a lewd version of Pokémon Snap! However, that is not the case here at all; there is very, very little gameplay.

A Dungeon Of The Darkest Order

The art style that Snapshot Dungeon has going on is really cool. It has a very dark and red hue to it. We are not talking Nintendo Virtual Boy levels of red and dark, but it is certainly a very unique look. The game has some fantastic pixel art, and there are many animated sex scenes where you get to see these monster girls getting down and dirty in all kinds of awesome and hot scenes. I do feel that the overall style of the visuals is going to be something of an acquired taste, but that is each to their own. I personally liked the designs of the monster girls and also the overall dark and dingy style that the game went for. Although, there is a screen shake thing here that I could probably do without.

Going Back To The Past

Before we bring this Snapshot Dungeon review to a close, I do have to talk about the technical issues that this game has. The strange thing is, it was the last update that the game got, which seemed to kill it! I would recommend going back and getting the second to most recent build of the game, as that one I had no issues with. Of course, by the time you read this, it could be 100 percent complete, and all of the technical issues I had with the most recent build are no longer a thing. Still, this was such an issue, I felt that I had to at the very least, address it.

Pros:

• I loved the pixel art
• The whole vibe and unique look of the game is cool
• I liked the idea of being a monster girl photographer
• There are some very hot monster girl designs

Cons:

• There is not much in the way of actual gameplay
• The most recent version of the game I played had major crashing issues
