SQUID GIRLS 18+

It would be so easy to just look at SQUID GIRLS 18+ as some kind of cheap lewd cash in of a popular TV show…. And it kind of is that. However, I did find myself having fun here and while it is certainly not a perfect game, there was more than enough here to entertain me and I did actually see this one all the way through until the end. If you like the show this is based on, I suggest that you try this one out as it is something that I think you could have some fun with.

A Squid By Any Other Name

As you have probably already figured out, SQUID GIRLS 18+ is a lewd parody of the Netflix hit, Squid Game. The story here has us playing as one of the chicks who has found her way into the game and if we want to get out without getting killed all the while getting laid, we better have our wits about us. The writing is not bad to be fair, it does fit the idea of the show pretty well, but the translation is kind of rough making the story not flow all that smoothly. Still, if you dig the show, there is more than enough here to get a kick out of.

Running In 3D

When I heard that SQUID GIRLS 18+ was a “runner” kind of game, I was sure this was going to be in 2D, but that is not the case as this is a game that is in full 3D! The idea is that you need to run and make it to the end of the obstacle course without falling off, being caught by one of the obstacles, or by being beaten by one of the other contestants. The game is pretty easy as the AI of your opponents is as dumb as a bag of rocks as they just run into stuff and end up stuck. However, the challenge comes from the camera which seems to sway and never is fully behind you, meaning that you are always just a little bit off with the direction you are running. Still, you get used to it and there is some fun to be had here.

I Don’t Remember That In Squid Game

SQUID GIRLS 18+ has some amazing lewd scenes that bring these babes to life in a very cool anime kind of way. The sex scenes are animated, but they are a little short, but the still get the job done. I found that the sex scenes and the lewd content in general, were more than enough to make me want to keep on playing so I could unlock the next scene. The actual “game” looks decent enough and if it were not for that hyperactive camera, I would probably have said that the presentation was actually pretty great. I do wish that the sound was better, there are parts of the game that have no sound effects, but they feel like they should which can seem kind of strange.

Playing For Achievements

What can I say when it comes to PC and Xbox, I am an achievement whore and the same is true for trophies on PlayStation. This brings me to a bit of an issue with SQUID GIRLS 18+ and that is the achievements. These were added to the Steam version of the game after it had been released and if you have already played the game, even if you have not beaten it. If you want to try and get the achievements which is where most of the fun and challenge of the game is, you have to go into your game files and manually delete your save file as it will not allow you to gain achievements. This sucks as it should not be down to the player to have to go into the game files to make it so they can earn achievements!

Pros:

• I enjoyed this lewd take on the Squid Game show
• The game has some fantastic looking lewd scenes
• The gameplay can be fun once you get the hang of it
• This is a game that is not asking for much of your time

Cons:

• The camera can make certain sections harder than they should be
• I am still mad about the whole achievements thing the game had going on!
