The Eight Floor Mansion

Ok, let me start by telling you that the version of The Eight Floor Mansion I played was all in Japanese, so I had no idea what was going on as far as the story went. However, despite that, I was able to fumble my way through this lewd horror themed game, and I had a very fun time doing so! If you like a nice mix of lewdness and horror in your games, I am certain that you are just the kind of player for whom this game was made for. I ended up recommending this to a friend, and they even said that they had a great time messing around with these horny ghosts as well!

Monster House

By the way, the Monster House game, based on the CGI movie, is actually pretty damn awesome and a real hidden gem. I referenced that game because The Eight Floor Mansion has a real monster house kind of thing going on as we play the role of a young man who, from what I gathered, is called Syota, and actually, I am still 50 50 on whether this is a young man or a woman, as I could not follow the story, as it was all in Japanese. Anyway, what I could gather was that we are trapped in this old mansion and there are a bunch of horny ghosts that are trying to get their spectral hands on us!

It Is Dangerous To Be Alone…. In The Dark!

That is right, I just dropped an Alone in the Dark reference, I guess that is the way this The Eight Floor Mansion review is going! This is best described as a lewd adventure game, and while I will be honest and say that I did not finish the game as I did reach a few stumbling blocks, I was just walking around the mansion, trying to find my way into new rooms, all the while trying to stay one step ahead of the various horny creatures that call this place home. I think there is something of a puzzle element at play here as well, but I was able to get what I think was pretty far into the game without really understanding what I was doing or what was going on. But, you can repel the spirits with your little cross that you have on you if you are quick enough.

Home Sweet Home!

How many non Resident Evil game reviews have a Sweet Home reference? Anyway, The Eight Floor Mansion has some fantastic pixel art. I am a huge fan of the creepy mansion that they have created here, and walking around it in this 2D pixel form was fun, and I was very impressed by just how detailed and how many objects had a kind of 3D look about them. In many ways, it has a kind of Castlevania look about it, well, Castlevania if it were set in a more modern kind of mansion. Anyway, if you get a kick out of highly detailed pixel art, I am certain that you are going to like what has been done here, as it truly is quite impressive.

Nothing Silent About These Hills

I will admit that my Silent Hill reference is a little bit of a stretch here, but we have referenced iconic horror games in every other segment, so why stop here? The character designs in The Eight Floor Mansion are just awesome and the absolute highlight of the game for me. There are several spooky and horny creatures in the game, and the first one that I came across was the big boobed ghost who seemed to get a great deal of pleasure out of putting us between her huge boobs. There was also this devil/succubus looking character that was amazing, and the best surprise was the horny haunted painting that I came across by complete random. None of the XXX was what I would class as hot, but it was well done and super fun to come across.

• The gameplay I experienced seemed really fun
• I got a kick out of the horror vibes

• There is no translation as I write this
• I am still not 100 percent sure what gender the MC is!

The Eight Floor Mansion is a pixel-art side-scroller in which players take on the role of a schoolgirl named Syota. Her friends have mysteriously disappeared, so she heads into the forest to look for them. There, she discovers an abandoned, opulent mansion. She then loses consciousness and wakes up inside the house. It seems this is exactly how her friends disappeared. Now your task is to find them, but it appears some kind of evil spirit inhabits the house. Essentially, the entire gameplay boils down to running through the same floor over and over again in search of anomalies. Once you’ve found and neutralized them all (the succubus maid, the black cat woman, the ghost, the doll, and the portrait), the final boss will appear. Before he appears, hanged toys will dangle from the ceiling, and he himself resembles a demonic entity wearing a mask with a human face.

Game Features

• You can defeat monsters using a holy crucifix, but you can only use it 3 times per level
• Use pieces of furniture to hide from enemies
• I wonder why the 8th floor is often portrayed as scary in so many games? Try other games like Floor 8 by CJax Studio or floor8 by infinitySP, and maybe you’ll find the answer
