Uragun

Even though as I write this, Uragun is not yet complete, I think that this is showing a great deal of promise and is one of the more interesting shooters to be released in 2022. It has a whole lot of charm to it and it is a game that I think is going to appeal to both hardcore shooter fans as well as those who are a bit more casual about their shooters. I wanted to take a moment to look at the game today and show you why I am so excited about it.

Finding My Friend

I think that there is a lot of charm to the story that Uragun is telling. We play as a mech that has awakened to find that the world has been overtaken by a rogue AI that is causing all kinds of destruction to the world. Now, the story is twofold, on one hand, you have to try and stop this evil AI. However, you are also looking for your human pilot who is more than just a pilot they are also your friend.

Short, Intense Burt’s

The gameplay of Uragun is something that I think is very cleverly designed. This is best described as a top down shooter. We control our mech as we move around and blast anything that moves. The game is designed to be a kind of “the best defense is a strong offense” kind of thing. You are greatly encouraged to run and gun as the enemy will always try and chase you down. I think that this is going to make things very fun and intense and quite exciting. The levels are designed to be shorter, to get people straight into the action.

Embracing Your Inner Mech

As you would expect from a shooter like this, Uragun has a great progression system. As you progress through the game, you will be able to find all kinds of new weapons that you can add to your mech, ranging from shotguns to plasma rifles. You can have a pair of weapons at a time and finding the perfect balance that suits your playstyle is going to be key to not just getting through the game, but having a lot of fun in the process.

Painting The Picture

I think that visually, Uragun is not getting the credit that it deserves. This is a great looking and very stylish game. I like the world that they have created here. You will be going to real locations such as Barcelona which has been decimated by war, the snow covered parts of Northern America, and Hong Kong which looks radically different from the way that it looks now.

Pros:

• I love the setting and the story of the game
• The shooter mechanics are easy to learn, but there is a real depth to the gameplay here
• You can get many different weapons and upgrades for your little mech
• I really like the variety of the locations in the game

Cons:

• I am not sure how long the game will be
• How long will it take them to actually finish the game?

Uragun is a top-down arcade shooter in which you have to fight against an army of aggressive robots controlled by an evil AI.

Plot

When building intelligent machines, people have always been afraid that one day the positronic brain will surpass the human brain. And so it happened, humanity has almost disappeared from the face of the earth, and all power is in the hands of a mad artificial intelligence. Our protagonist, a handsome mechanoid, decides to find his missing partner, the human pilot. He makes an independent decision to fight the iron tyrant and his army, and give people back a chance to return to a peaceful life.

Gameplay

Each new level is randomly generated, giving more opportunity for replayability. Each enemy requires an individual strategy. The locations will be real cities - Shanghai, Barcelona, New York, Sydney. Develop your combat skills, improve your weapons, learn combo techniques, and become the deadliest threat.
