I was shocked at how good a visual novel Wolf Tails turned out to be. I have played so many lewd novels over the years that some of them are pretty much instantly forgettable. This one though, I am sure is going to stick with me for a while and as I write this I am actually pretty interested in playing through it again and seeing all of the routes and endings that are on offer. With amazing visuals and fantastic writing, this is one of the best lewd visual novel games you can play.

A Guy And Two Wolves

Ok, that is actually a bit misleading as the story that Wolf Tails is telling allows you to pick either a male or female MC and the dialogue will change depending on which one you pick. The premise of the story is the same though. You move to a cabin in the woods to be alone and get away from civilization. One night during a snowstorm a frightened wolf girl appears and you decide to take her in and help her get warm. She takes a liking to you and wants to stay! Things get even more strange when a second wolf girl shows up!

My Two Wolf Girls

The first wolf girl that shows up is called Mirari and she is a princess from a pack of wolf girls and she has run away. In Wolf Tails, she is the nicer, more kind hearted girl. The other wolf girl that shows up is called, Fuyu and she is much more brash and loud and she wants to take Mirari back so that she can fulfill her duties to the pack, you end up right in the middle of it! There are two routes for each girl and there are also different endings that you can come across depending on what your actions are during the story. It is very, very well written and there is a lot of heart, sadness, and fun in the story so you go through every part of the emotional spectrum.

Beauty And The Wolf

I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Wolf Tails is one of the best-looking visual novels that I have had the pleasure to play. This game is absolutely gorgeous. I am not just talking about Mirari and Fuyu either! Everything in this game is pure eye candy from the locations to the sex scenes. Speaking of the sex scenes, there are actually only a couple in each route, but I think the less is more approach works in the games favor as I felt like they impacted the story much more and they were also very, very well done.

Rather than going on more and more about how much I loved Wolf Tails, I think the best thing I can do is just tell you to go and play it for yourself. This is a truly remarkable and very special kind of visual novel and one that I would love to play every part of. It is so good that I know this is a very long shot, but I would 100 percent purchase a physical version of this game if it were ever to be released. Perhaps they could do it on the Nintendo Switch?

I was captivated by the story right from the start
I liked how well developed the two wolf girls were
There are different paths and endings to experience
It is one of the best looking lewd visual novel games I have ever played

Cons:

I really do wish that there was a physical release of this game to have in my collection
I think that voice acting would have made this a 10/10 game for me
