When perusing the various adult game options out there, it can be very easy to get bogged down in the saturation of anime girls with huge breasts, slave women, cartoon cuties and ultra-realistic girls with scarily accurate boob physics. Though, it can often be difficult to find a game that will support the needs of the LGBTQ+ community, especially for guy on guy action. However, there are some games out there that fill this need and Men Bang just so happens to be one of them.
This game plays rather like any dialogue-driven, choose your story type games such as Desires: Choose Your Story or Chapters: Interactive Stories. However, it has Nutaku at the helm, the same developer that brought you Fake Lay. So the art style will be very familiar to those who have played that game.
Inclusive Yet Obstructive
This game is part of a series of titles that aim to bring the adult gaming experience to a wider audience of players. With games also being produced for the lesbian and transgender community as well. This move is something that has to be admired and throughout the titles scenes and content, the approach never panders, changes or deviates from the heterosexual counterparts, offering an equally good experience which is exactly what you want to see.
However, for this reason, the game has the same core problems as Fake Lay for example. The game tries desperately to monetize its content and hide the best moments and scenes behind long wait times and paywalls. It’s a really obstructive feature that makes enjoying the game near impossible at times without forking out cash.
Hot and Steamy
When the game does let you partake in its more raunchy and steamy content, there is a lot of fun to be had. The character models are cartoon hunks and even bare a striking resemblance to gay pornstars working in the industry at present. It’s a nice touch that really adds to the fanfare within the game and can lead to a twitch down there if you know what we mean.
Plus, if you can get past the annoying paywalls, the gameplay can be fun too. The resource management is clearly borrowed from Fake Lay, as are some of the mini-game mechanics. However, there is more of a story going on here which is nice to see.
Gay and Here to Play
For all intents and purposes, this game is a carbon copy of its predecessor Fake Lay with new art, some tweaks to the mini-games and a little more story added for good measure. The main reason why it’s slightly better than its predecessor is that this game fills a much more needed gap in the market and for that reason, its worthy of a play simply because there is a shortage of games of this nature.
Don’t get us wrong, the paywalls are still criminal but its better than nothing at all.
- Caters for the gay community
- Resource Management and mini games are fun.
- Cartoon artwork is well done.
- Pay walls kill a lot of potential enjoyment
- Carbon copy of Fake Lay
