Romance After Dark

Talk about a surprise, Romance After Dark is a lewd visual novel/adventure game that completely took me by surprise. I was very, very impressed when I played this game and its film noir/detective style story is something that I have not experienced much of in the world of lewd video games. It also boasts some of the best-looking female character models that I have seen in a very long time. A Film Noir Detective Story

I got a real kick out of the dark noir style story that Romance After Dark is telling. We play as a private detective called Trevor whose life is kind of in tatters, but he is working a big case and we get to try and move things along to bring it to a conclusion. Why am I being so vague about the plot of the game? Because there are multiple endings (I think about ten) and the story can go in many different ways. The basics are that there are a lot of seedy things going on here and Trevor is right in the middle of it all.

Dame For A Kill

The main female characters in Romance After Dark are some of the best that I have seen. My favorite of the bunch is Miranda who is a redhead and has a real Jessica Rabbit vibe going on. Then we have Teresa who is a sexy librarian with an interest in the occult. Then we have Sara who is a smoking hot blonde from the streets. I do want to add that they have added another route to the game with a chick called Penelope, but she was added after I played through the game. Each girl has her own story, personality, and secrets that you need to uncover as you play the game.

A Cut Above The Rest

Visually, I cannot think of a better-looking lewd game that I have seen in the last year or so than Romance After Dark. I know I just said that Miranda is my favorite, but all of the characters in this game look amazing. They are all fantasy types, with big, boobs, perfect bodies, and feisty personalities! The whole setting of the game is great too with the film noir style being something I really do like. Then we come to the XXX content which is fully animated and features some fantastic scenes!

Ten Endings In The Making!

Romance After Dark has ten (well it could be more now that a new character was added) endings that you can get depending on the choices you make through the game. I would say that this is best described as a lewd visual novel, but the way the game plays and the way that you work each storyline adds a bit of detective work to the game too. Your choices and what you do and say actually feel like they matter in this game and that is pretty awesome.

• The visuals are some of the best I have seen
• The sex scenes are animated and look amazing
• The film noir story in the game is something I really did enjoy

Cons:

• There are a few typos in the story
• Some of the dialogue could have been shortened a tad
