Sakura Dungeon

The game follows a recently awakened fox spirit who has discovered that her dungeon has been overtaken by monsters seeking to defile it. Thankfully the person who woke her from her slumber was a fierce and beautiful knight who is more than willing to help out. The story elements are tastefully done along with the touches of erotica scattered throughout the game. The plot is interesting and focuses on romance as well as monster hunting fun. The story does take a back-step to the gameplay itself which is to be expected of a dungeon crawling game where you’ll rarely see anything other than stone walls and wooden spikes.

Tools

The game’s primary focus is the capture mechanic that allows you to add enemies you fight to your own team so you can level them up and take on harder challenges. This is obviously inspired by the Pokemon games which feature the same concept of capturing monsters, although Sakura Dungeon’s are definitely more on the hentai side of things. Each monster girl has her own abilities and options in battle so you can mix and match a team of up to six characters to take on any challenge that comes your way. The downside though is that while the game offers plenty of horizontal variety, it lacks in vertical depth as each character only has very few abilities than can make the game feel a lot more shallow than it really should. Overall a pretty satisfying if somewhat lacking selection of options are included in this game.

Gameplay

Gameplay takes place in a classic dungeon crawling first person perspective as you delve deeper and deeper into the dark caves of the underground labyrinth that makes up this game. You can collect over 50 different types of monster girls as well as unlocking 30 or so different outfits for you to wear. You can also unlock a lot of extra bonuses such as sprites, lewd artwork and other similar goodies. You can expect the game to last around 20 hours while also offering different levels of difficulty for you to further customize your experience. All around a satisfying journey through deep dark dungeons filled with gratuitous ladies.

Music & Ambiance

The music is good but the main draw is the artwork and beautiful character design that is sure to stun and enrapture you in dirty ways and otherwise. All wonderfully rendered by someone who is sure to be a very talented and underappreciated artist of impeccable taste. The game is gorgeous and draws you in with its detailed, easy on the eyes visuals that you can’t look away from.
