TERA

TERA is one of the biggest MMO games in the world. First released the better part of a decade ago in the East. Bluehole Inc., have been working hard over the years to make TERA better and better. If you want an action packed MMO game, TERA is one that you have to check out.

Epic Presentation

What first grabs your attention about TERA is the insane presentation. This is one of the best looking MMO’s that I have ever played. Each world is full of life and no matter if you are exploring a town, heading through a wide open plain or battling in a dark dungeon. TERA’s locations are full of personality and little details that really do make the whole world feel alive.

TEAR has a rather weird lore running through it that revolves around two warring giants that have a world on their back…. yeah it is weird. Anyway, the story is not the strong point of TERA if you ask me, but it is different enough to make it stand out from other MMO games.

TERA Has A Lot Of Class

TERA has an impressive 13 different classes for you to choose from. What I love about the classes in TERA is how radically different they are from each other. For example you have these cutesy looking Elin characters and then you have these demonic looking Castanics. The different way the characters look is really cool and you have many different ways that you can tinker with them to make them your own. If you are in a guild and there are all different races and classes it can look pretty darn cool.

All About Combat

The combat in TERA is what makes it so addictive. This does not feel like your standard MMO game. TERA feels more like a hack and slash action game and that is awesome. This is what the game calls its “True Action Combat System” I think that not only is this a lot of fun. It also makes TERA a MMO game that is very easy for new comers to get into. You will be swinging around you weapon like a badass and casting spells in no time at all. I really like how TERA makes combat simple, fun, but also rather in depth. Some MMO games have a tendency to be over complicated when it comes to their gameplay. TERA manages to avoid this and that is great.

It Is Dangerous To Go Alone

If you ask me TERA is a game that is best played with other people. Especially if it is people you know, although to be fair the community from what I have experienced is pretty good. TERA does though also cater to people who want to play on their own so that is good too. There are some epic PvP battles that you can take part in these are great. Especially if you are part of a guild as the battles can rage on for what feels like ages. My only criticism would be that some of the quests are a little on the boring side. For how imaginative the world of TERA is I wish that some of the quests were a little more interesting.

TERA is a great MMO game and one that is more focused on action than anything else. I think is great! If you have always wanted to try a MMO, but have been put off by the slow pace that some of them have. TERA is the game that you need to give a try. It feels far more like a regular action game than it does a MMO and that is a good thing.
