Thunder Tier One

KRAFTON, Inc. launched in December an exciting new installment that transports you to a true tactical mission leading a squad of troops to victory. We are talking about Thunder Tier One. It is framed during the 1990s and its premise is the fight against an international terrorist organization known as SBR. As a member of an elite force, it will be up to the player to exterminate the threat following a series of attacks on civilian targets in the fictional eastern European nation of Columbia.

Advanced gameplay

As a good squad leader, the player must put together the best strategy to invade space and have both skills and tools on the battlefield. They highlight the ability to crouch to be imperceptible in the ambush, change weapons and improve them, use the team to cover the greatest number of angles and relocate them, explore the scenarios with a drone, turn off the lights to enter with the advantage of a vision helmet night and even spying under the doors to anticipate attacks.

One ability the drone offers in addition to scouting is that it can be used to reposition troops and assign them specific tasks such as loading or registering a body. Enemies are noticeable if you are attentive to movement as the mysterious and nocturnal scenes are designed to camouflage both the enemies and our troops, but the shots stand out in a striking red color.

Tactics and intelligence

Most shooter games fully exploit the ability of all players to create game strategies to succeed. However, the big difference with Thunder Tier One is that it is a game that will teach its users to be intelligent and tactical on a battlefield, something that in other titles you have to get out of creativity. But after all this game is developed by the same people behind PLAYERUNKNOWNS BATTLEGROUNDS, or just PUBG.

Game mode

It offers several multiplayer modes in which to face other users:

• Exfil: A 4v4 mode in which the team needs to extract a package within the time limit, ensuring that their mission is not interrupted by the opposing team.
• Advance & Secure: 4v4 games where dominance over the sectors is disputed. Whoever manages to control more of them wins.

Domination: PvE experience (players against the environment) in which you will have to assume a series of control points, disarm explosives and defend yourself within a predetermined time limit. Deathmatch: The traditional free-for-all mode in which up to eight players compete for the best position.

Thunder Tier One offers a new game system within the known, but without moving away from the genre with a great variety of content that will delight lovers of tactics.

According to the developers, the game is designed to offer a realistic shooting experience, where details such as the handling of a weapon, the exit speed of the projectile, or the weight of the ammunition directly influence the success of each detonation.
