As VR has moved from just a concept to a well-respected medium to deliver games to the community at large. It has meant that lots of adult game developers have created games for these headsets and consoles. However, very few have created operating systems where you can create your own sexual scenarios in an infinite sandbox. Such a project seems farfetched and outlandish. Yet, VAM-X aims to offer this through it's sandbox setup.
This 'game' plays like other systems that allow players creative freedom. Games like Primrose Dungeon, Operation Lovecraft, Deryzed and mainstream games like Garry's Mod and Dreams. This game is your one stop shop for creating the ultimate sexual fantasy. So join us, as we review Vam-X, a desktop sex sim with Virt-a-Mate.
VAM, Bam, Thank You Maam
The first thing we should mention here, is that this project is still under development and it will be some time before it is complete. That being said, it's playable in it's current form and while not perfect, it is still a rather enjoyable experience. There is a hub where players can add their own adjustments, pick up free assets and build their own tools to create a sexual fantasy unlike any other, all available to explore in VR.
Think of it like modding one of your favourite games. You take the base game, make all the necessary changes and usually, what you are left with is something that perhaps no other player will have witnessed. You can add specific clothing, specific areas, new characters for you to rail and some new animations which allow you to do just about anything you choose.
The downside to this service at the moment is that, the service is not as robust as it needs to be to support any desire. Some mods will work and others wont. Calibrations can be a little tricky, the visuals and animations can dip in quality a lot and overall, it's a hit and mix service. However, when it hits the mark, the VAM-X simulator really shines
Overall, we can only give a score for the time being and that is an average one. Sadly, the service still needs a lot of work to be labelled a finished product. However, all of the key building blocks are there to see.
The abundance of choice is a phenomenal feature of this service and the VR functionality is a dream when it works. It will be about fine tuning from here on out but we have to say, it all looks very promising.
- An abundance of choice
- Easy installation
- VR functionality is super when it works
- Visuals and animations can dip in quality
- Rough around the edges
