Xtardew Valley

I came into Xtardew Valley expecting to get a few laughs as it is a lewd mod for a very, very popular farming/life sim game. However, I was kind of shocked by just how much I got into this as the writing is great and the XXX stuff was a lot of fun. I wanted to share my thoughts on this and why you need to give this mod a try if you are a fan of the base game. As far as I am aware, this is PC only so please keep that in mind going forward. I only played it on my desktop, but I do plan to see if I can get it working on my steam deck at some point.

Into the Valley, We Go

As you have probably already figured out, Xtardew Valley is a lewd mod for the incredible game Stardew Valley. Mods are what that game is all about and there is certainly no shortage of XXX mods for that game, that is for sure. However, one thing I will say about this one is that I really think they screwed up the name of this one, it should have been called XXXtardew Valley, although to be fair, I am not sure if putting XXX in the title may have caused some issues with getting the mod onto certain sites.

The Gang Is All Here….. And They Are Horny

If you have played Stardew Valley before, you know all about how there are several characters that you can romance as you progress through the game and try to find the one who you want to settle down with. Xtardew Valley takes those characters that you already know and now allows you to get into many different naughty and sexual situations with them. I had a blast with this and seeing characters like Jodi say some more risqué stuff to me was something that I got a massive kick out of. Granted, it is very, very XXX, but the writing does not actually feel all that out of place for these characters, like if these characters were super horny, you could totally imagine them talking like this.

Public Service Announcement: Start a New Game!

The best bit of advice I can give you about this mod for Stardew Valley is to make sure you start a new game before you play Xtardew Valley. You can install the mod and the content will be there in your current game. However, you may miss out on many situations with various characters depending on how far into the game you are. It is best to just start a whole new game. Speaking of which, this for the most part is the same Stardew Valley that you know and love, only now you can have sex. Not only that, it is possible to walk in on characters having some XXX fun too. One thing that I thought was really neat about the mod was the way that you could now romance and have sex with married characters who are off-limits in the base game.

Still Packed With Charm

As Xtardew Valley is a mod, the game looks the same as the original, but I am more than ok with that. This is some of the most charming pixel art you will ever see and now you can see many of these characters having sex and being just straight-up nude in many different situations. To be honest, I would not say that that pixel porn stuff is “hot” however, it is very well done and thanks to the writing of the characters feeling kind of authentic. It may be possible for you to really get into it if you have some kind of connection with one or a few of these cute pixelated ladies.

Pros:

• The pixelated sex scenes are super cute
• I was impressed with how authentic the characters felt
• There are some great naughty stories with the characters
• This is one of the best porn mods for this game

Cons:

• A couple of detailed sex scene portraits would have been nice
• It would be so easy to miss a lot of content if you put this mod on a preexisting save
