Night Cascades is a visual novel game in which two girls try to solve the mystery of occult crimes.

Plot

A young student named Diana is interested in folklore legends and is writing a research paper on the subject. Unexpectedly she is invited to a consultation at the police station. It turns out that a crazy religious sect is running rampant in the city, claiming responsibility for numerous fires and terrorist attacks. The case is investigated by a beautiful detective named Jackie, and now she and Diana become partners. But in addition to investigating crimes, the girls suddenly break out in a romantic relationship. How will the relationship that suddenly began so suddenly end?

Gameplay

The game is a classic graphic novel with point-and-click quest elements from Hanako Games. Grim drama is interspersed with supernatural phenomena, but it's still not a horror, but more of a drama.

The action takes place in an alternate past. If you love detective visual novels with all your soul, you'll appreciate similar projects Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, N1RV Ann-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action, and Fate/Stay Night.
