Ripples

Wow, talk about a surprise, Ripples is a lewd adventure game that I went into not expecting much, but I was very impressed with what I experienced here. I am always a sucker for a lewd game that has a bit of a sci-fi story and as this game deals with time travel and has a bit of a murder mystery about it too, it was probably always going to be something that greatly appealed to me. I wanted to take a bit of time today to talk about this game and hopefully get a few more people into this.

The Butterfly Effect

I do not want to go too much into the plot of Ripples as it is one of the best things about the game. We play as a high-school student who is in his final year. His father was mysteriously murdered and a good friend of his called, Darci comes back into his life in a prominent way and on what at first feels like a normal high-school kind of story, soon becomes a time traveling adventure as you try to find out what really happened to your dad.

More Than Enough

There are many different girls in Ripples that you will get to talk to, but you only chat and interact with them a little bit. You may think this would make the story hard to follow or give it a lack of focus. However, our MC building up a large group of girls to have sex with is not the goal here. The girls fit into the main plot very well and I enjoyed getting to know each one a little bit better as the game progressed. The story is well written and the little bits of humor that are here are done very well, so well that I wish there was more of it!

Not Enough Hours In The Day

If you have played any kind of lewd sandbox/adventure style game before, the gameplay on offer in Ripples is going to be something that has a real sense of familiarity for you. You have a phone that can be used for chatting, keeping track of things, and so on, but each day in the game, you feel like you have a ton of stuff to do, but not enough time to do it. However, with that being said, once you figure things out, you soon realize that the game is pretty simple to get to grips with and rather easy to figure out what you have to do.

Why Wasn’t My School Like This?

Of course, a lewd game has to be easy on the eyes and thankfully, Ripples is a game that boasts some very impressive looking character models. Each girl has her own kind of style and I found that the facial expressions in particular did wonders to make you feel like you were getting to know these characters better. The XXX content in the game happens at a very fair rate and the animation makes these sex scenes even better!

Pros:

• The sci-fi time travel story being told here is great
• There is a nice number of characters to interact with
• The XXX content in this game is a lot of fun
• It surprised me just how well written and good the story was

Cons:

• The little bit of humor that is in the game is great, I just wish there was more of it
• I do think a point in the right direction sometimes may have been beneficial
