I was not sure of what to expect with Room, but this ended up being a pretty interesting, I guess lewd visual novel is probably the best way to describe this, but it does have a few surprises in store.

Obsession!

The plot here is one that I think is pretty interesting. We basically become the landlord of an apartment building, and one day, a cute girl called Yume moves in as she tries to start a new life. We become obsessed with her as she is not just cute, but she is actually a very nice person, too. A spanner is thrown in the works as there is another girl, Akira, whom we also have a thing for. There are some extreme elements to the story here, but you can avoid them, which I will explain about in just a second.

More To My Style

With Room being a voyeur and even abuser kind of game in many regards, it may turn some people off, but you can lessen this as the game has you making many choices as it progresses. At the end of the day, I do not think there is any way to play as a truly good guy; we have a camera literally in her toilet for goodness sake! However, you can avoid some of the more extreme stuff if you make the right choices. The gameplay is more of a lewd visual novel, but they do try to freshen it up with some point and click adventure style elements, which are very linear, but at least it is something.

Cute, But Deadly!

With its anime style of visuals, there is a very stylish kind of look to this game, and for the most part, I really do like it. The two girls, especially Yuma, are very easy on the eyes, and there are a whole bunch of XXX scenes, and I do not even think I saw all of them during my playthrough. However, there are some more extreme scenes in this game that you may not be expecting. As I said, you can literally have a camera in her toilet as she squats down and takes care of her business, which may not be to everyone’s taste.

• I liked both of the girls
• The gameplay had a bit more to it than I was expecting
• The visuals here are fantastic

• I wish I could have played as a better guy

Room [SORAREVO] is an erotic visual novel in which players take control of a young man named Sanya. He is a wealthy heir who doesn’t need to work and instead rents out apartments in his house. Sanya enjoys watching his tenants’ lives through hidden cameras. Suddenly, a new girl named Yume Hiiragi moves into his house. She is young and very beautiful, and has come to Tokyo to pursue a career in television. From that moment on, all the other tenants are forgotten, and Sanya’s attention is completely focused on Yume Hiiragi alone. Using a spare set of keys, he can sneak into Hiiragi’s room at any time. He begins by constantly monitoring her daily life. Thanks to the cameras, he watches her shower, use the bathroom, and masturbate. Once Sanya has figured out all of Hiiragi’s intimate preferences, he can come over himself and fuck her in her own bed.
