Time to stop criminals by using some truly forceful methods! Welcome to Chase H.Q. where we stop criminals the only way we know how: by smashing them to a pulp! As a drug smuggler in disguise, you get to drive a dream car: a super fast, candy-apple red sports car, equipped with three Nitro Boosters to give you a blast of temporary super speed when you need it! However, catching suspects isn't always easy: there are other drivers to consider as well, and if you hit them they will slow you down! Look out for other nuisances as well - like bikers with gas bombs, and even helicopters firing machine guns. Good luck!

  • CRIMINAL: Shows the suspect's damage and how many more hits he can take.
  • SPEED: Shows your acceleration and speed (max speed is approx. MPH).
  • NITRO ACCELERATOR: Activate one of these and you will travel at super fast speeds temporarily.
  • DISTANCE: Shows distance from you to the suspect in the Round.
  • TIME: If this runs out you will have to use a Continue. If you do use one, you will be given 3 Nitro Accelerators.

If you run out of time or wreck your expensive sports car, the game will end. However, you have two chances to continue the game from that point. If you do use a Continue, you'll be completely reimbursed with Nitro Boosters.

In addition to three skill levels, you can also customize the transmission type (manual or automatic), steering type (re-centering or not), and which buttons brake, activate the Nitro and accelerate!

This first chase is down a multi-lane freeway. Unfortunately there are other motorists on the road that will get in your way. However, it is a sunny, clear day with great visibility. Accelerate as fast as you can while pumping the brakes at curves so you don't fly off. After you emerge from the tunnel, you will spot your suspect! Bash into him from the rear while keeping an eye open for gunshots he may take at you! Save your Nitro blasts for the end.

This stage takes place in the desert. Following an investigation into Sunday's case, a map was discovered that pinpointed the location of the gang's next deal. While in pursuit of the main suspect, a group of bikers will throw gas bombs at you - steer clear of these flaming nuisances the second you see them dropped on the ground! The Boss is a green 4WD vehicle. Careful when chasing it in the tunnel.

Here you must deal with oncoming traffic! Be especially careful when going around turns - oncoming cars will surely approach. If they hit, they do a great amount of damage to your vehicle! A biker gang will also cause you problems as they shoot bullets your way. Use Nitro Boosters to ram into them or dodge their hail of bullets! The Boss will try to keep a good distance from you, occasionally firing bullets to slow you down!

Round 4 (left) will pit you against a modified pickup truck that launches mortar missiles at you! Round 5 (right) is your greatest challenge yet, as a heavily-armed helicopter will fly in and blast you full of holes!

People say:

I like this cart because it goes beyond your average racing game. The action gets really intense, but it's not frustrating. The scaling and graphics are really top-notch. Perhaps because of the perspective, it doesn't seem like Chase H.Q. It also needs more of a time limit. The Bosses always manage to speed up and run down the time. Its effects wear off after a while, but it's still good.

Hey, this is kinda fun! I remember playing the original Chase H.Q. in the arcades and really had a ball with it. This game is cool because you not only get to drive a cop car outrageously fast, but you also get to bash the heck out of the criminals' cars! A boring driving game this is not. I could see how the game would get old after a couple times playing it, but it's still a blast to go back to and play. It's definitely fun and original.

I never thought a driving game (outside of racing games) could be made with much originality and game play. The graphics aren't Virtua Racing, but who cares? Being able to crash into the cars you're chasing till they're disabled is a total riot, since I can't do it legally on the road. The sounds and the digitized voices probably could have been a little better, but the intensity makes up for it. Mark this up for one to buy.

This is a pretty cool driving game with a lot more action than your standard racing game. The graphics are decent and the scenery is done well. The thing that sets this apart from other racing games is the intense confrontation with the Bosses and the high pressure due to the limited time to defeat them. The game gets harder as you go along and the action gets equally intense as the time dwindles.

The chase is on! Chase H.Q. 2 is the smash sequel to one of the hottest arcade driving sims. You play an undercover cop in pursuit of drug runners. Utilize cars and trucks to smash the drug runner's cars and yank them out for the bust!

Look out for various road conditions that can hamper your progress as you pursue the deadliest drug lords on roads of death!
