The Adelaide Inn

I had heard mixed things about The Adelaide Inn, but after playing it I thought I would share my thoughts on this lewd visual novel and let you know if I feel if it is worth your time. One of the main reasons that I feel so many people are willing to give this game a try is that it does not demand a great deal of your time, you can get through it pretty quickly. Also, there is a decent number of lewd scenes in the game. This is made even better by how quickly you come across them too.

Life At The Inn

I am not sure exactly what the point of the story in The Adelaide Inn is, but I can tell you how I interpreted things! The game takes place in an inn (with a somewhat fantasy setting to it all) and you decide that the best way you can make money here is not just by offering people rooms, but also by offering them some sexual services as well.

Each person you interact with has a story to tell, but I never felt that any of it was all that interesting. I have to admit that this is one of those games where I just wanted to get through the dialogue in order to see the next XXX scene.

Lenticular Motion!

Visually, The Adelaide Inn is a bit of a mixed bag. The whole game has a kind of hand drawn look to it all which I really do like. I am a big fan of this art style and while I said the game has a fantasy type setting to it, it is not too over the top, and in all, I like what they have done here with the visuals. As far as the lewd scenes go, first of all, there are a nice amount of them. However, the animation is very, very weird. It is like those trading cards that have a “moving image” on them where you have to move them up and down or left to right and you get an illusion of movement, that is what the animation in this game looks like.

Making Sweet Love And Money

While I would describe The Adelaide Inn as a lewd visual novel, there is a bit more to the gameplay than just reading the text. You do get to make many choices when you are talking to the various characters and I liked how at the start of each choice a certain word would be highlighted, giving you more of an indication of what kind of reaction or event that choice could lead to.

There are also things that you can buy in the game too, this adds a bit more to the gameplay, but there was nothing that felt like it was too grindy which I consider a very good thing.

Pros:

• The game has a lot of XXX content
• Some people may dig the hand drawn art style
• I liked how the game got to the XXX content at a quick pace
• It does not take much time to play through the game

Cons:

• I found the animation style to be rather off putting
• The story is not all that engaging

For some reason, The Adelaide Inn came across my radar, and I had a real sense of familiarity with the game. I then realized that I played a very early build of this a while back, and now the game, from what I understand, is all done. Thankfully, I had forgotten most of what I knew about this, so even though I do know that I played the game, I was coming into this pretty blindly for the most part, and I was pretty excited about it, as I do remember having some fun with this wacky, lewd visual novel.

A Little Extra Cash Under The Table

The idea of the story in The Adelaide Inn is that we play the role of an innkeeper called Gunther, and we own this inn in a fantasy land, and things are not exactly going great financially for us! We are trying to make as much money as we can to pay off this rather hefty debt that we have! The only way that we can make enough money is by offering our super sweet, but also super hot wife, Mira, to our customers. She has huge boobs, is pretty, and is great in bed! That is a sure-fire way to make the extra money we need.

They All Want A Piece

It is kind of fun how the story of The Adelaide Inn is not taking itself too seriously at all. There is a great cast of fantasy characters here that we get to interact with, ranging from a hot cat-looking babe called Leila, an old farmer's wife called Milena (not the mouthy babe from Mortal Kombat II), who had grey hair, glasses, and massive mature boobs, and there are even creepy goblins and a knight who has a bit of history with Mira. There is not this huge overarching storyline that is going to engross you, but the various character interactions are pretty fun, and I am sure many of you will get a huge kick out of the various fantasy movie and game tropes that the story has.

Ok, I Hear And See You

I do not remember much about the gameplay from the first time that I played The Adelaide Inn a few years back. However, I was quite impressed by what a solid lewd visual novel this game ended up being. The story moves at a quick pace, and I felt that the way the text was presented, with some things being highlighted, it was clear that the game was trying to keep me on track so that I could see the sex scenes that it had to offer. It also felt like a pretty complete experience, too, and as I said during the intro, I am pretty sure that the developer is done with this, and what we have here is the full game. Even if you were to play it all, this is still not asking for a ton of your time, which is something I appreciate.

Where Everybody Knows Your… Wife!

I love the fantasy vibes that The Adelaide Inn has going on. The game has a rather laid-back kind of art style; they have gone for a more cartoon vibe, but there is just something about the rather chill color palette that they have used here that clicked with me. There are many great sex scenes in the game, and while there is a clear NTR theme here, with the wife getting ravaged by others. There are other hot babes in this game that you get to see having fun. The quality of the animation may not be the smoothest, but it is better than nothing, and I was always having a fun time when playing the game, and that was mostly due to how much I liked the way it looked.

Pros:

• I found the characters to be a lot of fun
• The game is always throwing sex scenes at you
• I liked how easy it was to play
• This ended up being a very fun lewd visual novel

Cons:

• It is not the deepest story I have experienced
• A few extra frames of animation would have been nice
