The Dungeon of Lulu Farea

The Dungeon of Lulu Farea is one of the more interesting erotic games that I have had the pleasure to play lately. This is taking things in a rather different direction. It is part RPG, part dungeon crawler, and part puzzle game too. It manages to meld all of these styles together in a very fun and challenging way. It is one of those games where I would keep telling myself “just one more game” and I would still be playing an hour or so later.

Enter The Dungeon, For Women Not Just Riches

The story that The Dungeon of Lulu Farea is telling is one that made me smile a great deal. This dungeon is said to offer those who are brave enough to enter it an entrance to the demon world and a crap ton of riches in the process. Let’s face it, is there any other reason to enter a dungeon other than getting rich? Well, it turns out there is and that reason is to get laid… and also get rich.

I freaking love this and had so much fun with it. I love it when a game does not take itself too seriously and that is this game to a tee! It can be sexy and that is great, but I would say it is much better to play this for laughs.

Gauntlet, But With Sex!

Do you remember that old arcade classic, Gauntlet? Well, that is probably the best comparison I can think of in regards to the visuals. Ok, so I was thinking that Adventure Time Explore The Dungeon Because I Don’t Know, but that would be weird. The Dungeon of Lulu Farea has a top-down viewpoint and a retro kind of vibe going on. It looks like the kind of game that Sega would have made back in the day, well if Sega made lewd games of course.

As well as the in-game graphics there is some great CG work in this game. The different monster girls look fantastic and are very appealing. I always like it when a game can have two very different graphical styles and somehow make it all work.

Getting Hard And Playing Hard

Let me say that The Dungeon of Lulu Farea is not a game for those who are not up for a challenge. Even on the normal difficulty setting, this game is going to pose you one heck of a challenge and you will die and die and die! It does have a good “help” system that I say there is no shame at all for using.

The gameplay has you exploring the dungeons and looking for stuff. The puzzle aspect of the game comes from the items you find and use and the monsters you fight. Each thing can only be used once so you have to be clever about when and where you use things. It is a system that is kind of hard to explain, but it is one that I found very satisfying.

Pros:

• The game has a great story and setting
• 60 plus levels for you to try and master
• It is not just a dungeon crawler, it is also a puzzle game
• Lots of hot monster girls
• It is challenging and fun

Cons:

• The difficulty curve is rather steep
• You may feel bad for using the help system!
