Trap Legend

I had no idea that Trap Legend was even a thing until recently and as someone that had a lot of fun with the previous game, I knew I had to play this. I will say that if you enjoyed the first game in this series, you will also greatly like this one too. However, we do have to also say that on the flip side of that, if the previous game was not your cup of tea, I cannot see what this kinetic lewd visual novel is offering you being so either.

The Forbidden Love

Like in Trap Shrine, Trap Legend features a story with a crazy cast of characters that is completely over the top and not meant to be taken seriously. I had so much fun with the first game and I like how this is a direct continuation of that first game. We have a goddess that came to help our “hero” with his family's shrine, but things are made much more complicated.

You see this shrine has a new goddess that wants to take over the shrine, but this one is saying that all crossdressing love is forbidden which if you know the score with Trap Shrine is a big deal as crossdressing is one of if not the main theme of the story in this game.

The Way Of Love

The story in general in Trap Legend is something that I legit found funny. It is not the longest story and there are only a small handful of characters, but that is part of the charm of this. You feel like you get to know this cast of characters well and as it is not taking things too seriously, you will have a smile on your face the majority of the time you are playing the game.

Now, like the original game, if you want a lewd visual novel where you get to make a whole bunch of choices, this is not the game for you. This is all about, sitting back, relaxing, and taking in the story. I am ok with that and if you liked the first game, I am sure you will be fine with that here too.

Who Doesn’t Love Fun Lewd Art?

I am pretty sure that what brought most people to Trap Legend is the same thing that brought people to Trap Shrine and that is the amazing visuals. This is such a bright and colorful looking game that it is impossible for it not to capture your attention. I know that the whole crossdressing thing is a fetish that is not to everyone’s taste, but I found it funny and done in a lighthearted way here that I liked.

Now, there is XXX content in this game and it is done well, but the version of the game I have played which was the base version you can get on Steam, had the “good stuff” censored with that weird mosaic thing games like this can often have. I have heard there is a patch, but I have not had the pleasure to play it just yet.

Pros:

• I love the cast of characters in this game
• The way the story is told is hilarious
• It is a game that does not take up much of your time
• It serves as a great follow up to the previous game

Cons:

• Like the previous game, there are no actual choices to be made
• If you did not like the first game, you will not like this
