It is crazy to think that this series has been going for 20 years with the game originally appearing on the PlayStation 2! This is aiming to bring with it, even more, realism and excitement than the series has had to date so rally fans are sure to be in for a real treat as they wheelspin in the mud playing this. Testing Your Skills With 3 New Rallies!

One of the big additions to this year’s game is three new rallies. WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship allows you to take part in the Kenya, Japan, and New Zealand rallies and they are trying to be as authentic as they possibly can be. You will be racing in 14 locations based on the latest season which was derailed by Covid-19, but you can at least take part in it in virtual form.

A Real Level Of Authenticity

It is the way that this series goes above and beyond with realism that makes rally fans love each new installment. This year’s game boasts a very impressive lineup of cars and crews from the current rally season with you be able to select from WRC, WRC-2, WRC-3, and J-WRC! Longtime fans of the sport will get a real kick out of the classic rally cars that they have included in this year’s game with there being a nice selection of classic cars for you to get behind the wheel of.

Behind The Wheel

I feel that the gameplay of WRC 9 FIA World Rally Championship and the series in general, is what either makes this the greatest game ever for you or makes you hate it. This is a series that is all about realism. As a result, this is not like Mario Kart where you can fly around the track, never pressing the brake button and going super-fast for 99 percent of the race. This is a game that is about skill, learning each track, and knowing how to tackle each part of it.

New Modes With The Community In Mind

While most people will probably jump straight into trying to win all the available championships. This year’s game offers a few new modes for you to play as well.

One that they are really hyping up is a club’s system where players can make their own championship, they can set the rules, the tracks, and so on, and then they can invite other players to take part in their own virtual championships. If you have a few buddies who play this game I am sure this is going to make it an absolute blast to play.

• They have tweaked the controls to make them even more realistic!

• If realistic driving games are not your thing, this is not the game for you
• On PC, you will need a decent setup to run this game at the best settings
