In this action packed RPG, you play Liv, a character who is determined to restore color to the world. The world has become washed out and ugly due to an event called the Chromaclasym, which caused everything to go monocromatic. The gods responsible for color are weakened due to this event, and their worshipers the Apostles are unfit to lead during this time. Liv must restore color and uncover the mystery of why this all happened.

Although the art style is vastly different and varied, the color restoration style works a lot like Paper Mario: Color Splash.

Multiple Endings

How the story ends is up to you. There are multiple choices available. What ending you get depends on where you explore, how you choose to interact with NPCs, and even your fighting style. Unlocking all the endings adds significant replay value to the game, and helps you better understand the world. Available endings are quite varied, allowing you to choose whether the world is completely destroyed, or if life and color are destroyed. Everything is in your hands with this multiple choice option.

Wide Variety of Art Styles

If you dislike the art style of the game, just move to the next area. The art style throughout the game changes and is as wild and vibrant as the colors you restore. As you progress through the game, the reason for these varied art styles in the different Artos, or Biomes of the world, are revealed.

30 Unique Bosses

Restoring color to the world is as simple as walking through it, but your walk is no peaceful journey. As you spread color through the land you’ll face various bosses and monsters who will try and stop you. You will need to develop your skills in combat to defeat them.

Developing your skills doesn’t just mean learning how to strike, but also collecting the weapons and spells you need to be more successful. Which ones you pick and how you go about combat is up to you, and will partially reflect how the end of the game plays out.

As unique as the bosses are, the play style shifts as well. Sometimes you will be playing a platformer, sometimes a hack n’ slash. You will need to be prepared for everything in order to complete this game. Available in English and Japanese

The game is to be released some time in February and will be available right away in both English and Japanese. Other languages may be added later, but these are not guaranteed at this time.

This beautiful and creative entry into the RPG action genre is a much-needed breath of life. Whether you play for the satisfaction of the world coming alive before you, for the storyline, or for the many unique mobs, this game has something for everyone.
